Easy kayaking to the river from the dock. Dawn was quick to answer questions. The house was well equipped with everything you need including essential spices. Check your dates *2024-10-04* I’m searching for a short term rental for 32-36 days in Arizona. The map is giving me listing prices for one week. If I had been naïve, I would’ve been out a lot of money. Generally, you should always check your dates when booking Rentals. Also, in Arizona if you book a rental for 30 days or more, you should get the monthly rental tax rate (about 1.5-3.5% or nill) and not the hotel tax rate (about 13.5%+) for most if not all circumstances. I don’t know about other states. AirBnB calculates this correctly. I don’t know about other sites yet. I know that some of them won’t even let you book for more than 30 days. No matter what quantity of guests you check out for, the price does not change. I booked a place that can sleep 12 but I checked out for 6 people knowing numbers were uncertain yet (trip is in August, and yes I checked if the price would change before doing so). I got an email from the property saying that additional guests beyond 6 would be $75 each. Excuse me? If I booked it for 12 people at the same price, would you still have told me that? To me, it seems like a cash grab and I don’t like it. When clicked, each were actually $640 to $1,100 per night. Every. Single. One. The positive reviews on here crack me up, especially the year old ones when this app was so glitchy you were lucky if you even got search results in the same state, let alone the ability to click on the property and see it. The ‘average price per night’ summary is what it would be reasonable to pay, then when you see the price breakdown you realize the fees make it almost double the ‘average’ that drew you in. I prefer Airbnb’s to hotels and always wondered why there wasn’t a hotel tonight option for rentals. Turns out there is!!! In the last year the wife and I booked 6 times on Whimstay. Never saved less than $500 every booking. Including a 10k!!!! savings on a 30 night stay. I almost don’t want people to find out about them so they don’t raise their prices.
