Good reception and all. I wouldn’t be complaining if it just let me continue from where I left off. This is the third time this has happened to me! If the issue continues, please reach out to us at support@whiparound.com with your device type, app version, and a quick note on the inspection you’re completing so we can investigate further. – Whip Around Team ### 3/5 — Unreliable *2026-01-28* My job has me use this app, and I really don’t like it because it will tell me that there’s an error halfway through my inspection, and completely reset everything that I did. In the past, my inspections didn’t even go through sometimes, it would go through days later. The app is decently actually works, but it’s extremely frustrating. How unreliable it is and I have to restart it probably three times before it actually goes through. I’m on a job right now and it did it to me and I’m just tired of it and wanted to put this review through. Working in your reliability guys, it’s not a complicated app. ### 4/5 — Keeps deleting my Assets *2024-09-02* Although I love the thorough nature of the pictures, there are some improvements needed as my assets and history keep getting deleted. Hopefully it’s online and can be accessed via computer but when I opened the App on September 1st, 2024. All my assets, history, and information was removed. I had to creat my assets from scratch again and I can’t check back to the previous paperwork to check if my unit was damaged during the trip. That being said, I prefer this paperwork to Outdoorsy, RVshare, and RVezy paperwork as this is more detailed and in depth than any of the others allowing me to document damages for insurances and pricing. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2023-06-04* The only flaw this app has is asking to share my location every time I open it with no option (as far as I can tell) to disable it. ### 2/5 — Not good for owner operators *2023-03-28* It has a lot of features and it would be awesome if they supported individual owner operators. However, their free version is about useless, and the next available plan is $6 a month which is fine, but they have a 5 truck minimum and a $20 per month service fee. So it’s really $50 a month if you only have one truck. For that reason I do not recommend this company. ### 4/5 — Needs update *2021-03-30* Way better than having to run around with a pen and paper you always have to figure out where you placed. The user interface is simple, self explanatory, and easy to use. Having said that, the check list is lay out is less than desirable. For example, you have to check the lights, tires, and engine compartment and then jump in to check the mirrors are adjusted to driver and then jump out to take a picture of your load and then jump in to check for safety equipment and then jump out to check for new damages and then jump in to check for cab cleanliness. This is especially irritating when there’s a trailer involved. I wish you could check everything on the left side of vehicle and trailer, then front side and engine, then left side of truck and trailer, then back side of truck and trailer, before checking everything that needs to be checked inside the truck. ### 3/5 — Good app *2020-12-24, version 3.11.1* This app is very good to use for work however the one downfall is that you cannot listen to music while on the app as the music stops every time a inspection is submitted. ### 4/5 — Driver *2020-11-06, version 3.8.0* Great to do online Than doing on paper that gets lost. ### 4/5 — Pre and Post trip inspections *2020-11-06* It’s a great app however I wish I could take multiple photos in one section like for brakes and tires with and explanation for each photo. Unfortunately the app lacks as I’m doing my pre trips. It’s time consuming. Before the update it was perfect. They constantly update it and it somehow gets worse. Takes so long to process the picture you know the pain felt by late 1800’s photographers. Thank you. ### 1/5 — Do Not Trust This App for a DVIR *2023-11-26* I’ve been thru a number of level 1 inspections over the years and this app is easy to use and covers the company/fleet in asset damages but it’s lacking in what the DOT requires. It’s also not friendly in sending a copy of the report. Save yourself the trouble and get a hard copy that covers what’s needed so you don’t get stung at the port. Nice idea and maybe someone in this company will get a CDL and understand what’s really needed. ### 1/5 — I would give zero, if possible *2023-08-11, version 4.5.0* Whip Around had been a great product for our small company until recently. Recent changes resulted in our monthly fees to Whip Around being over doubled with warning being sent on Friday and the extra charges being applied the following Monday. This resulted in us finding an alternative solution. We reached out to cancel Whip around, which is a multi-step process and we’re told we would be charged again even though we 2 weeks before next payment is due. Reading through their user agreement does not reflect this. Find other alternatives if you are a small company, Whip’s business practices are shady. ### 1/5 — Still billed my card *2023-02-28, version 4.2.1* The application overall did work not too bad. The reason for the low ratings, is they don’t have an option for small businesses that need a low monthly fee. And look out if you cancel! I informed them like 28 days before my next bill that I wanted the service billed and did not want to be invoiced anymore to be not being able to afford the service any longer. 28 days later they just invoiced me again and not claim they have a 30 day notice policy… ### 1/5 — Way to much spam *2021-05-31, version 3.21.0* I downloaded the app to see if it would mate with eld mandates that are coming into effect. After checking it out I decided to go another route but the emails do not stop to the point of me wishing I never considered the app. Do yourself a favor and Don’t even consider downloading it.
