What a pity because it is both an enjoyable and instructive game. I notice I’m not the only person with this complaint so go on re-collaborate and we will all be happy. ### 3/5 — Ridiculous words *2022-11-04, version 1.2* Letters NOCEEE cannot produce a valid word. Just not consistent. ### 3/5 — Limited vocabulary lets it down *2020-05-14, version 1.2* Very addictive, nice user interface, but there are so many bona fide commonly used words out there that it won't accept, and there are words that it expects that are either so obscure as to be unlikely to occur to the user, or are frankly invented. If you go for the competition level dictionary then you really are in the realms of fantasy. Sometimes it allows proper names, sometimes it doesn't. At the end of the day there are only so many six letter words out there anyway, so it gets very repetitive. By the same token, some foreign words that have become part of the everyday vernacular are not considered as options when solving puzzles. So, so, sooo happy it is still being updated. Nothing fancy, nothing overwhelming just anagrams. Great look and simple game play. Yes, some words are rather niche, but once you learn them (which is something you can do with this) you’ll know in future, also good for scrabble training! There is occasionally a “stumper” word but learning those increases your knowledge. If ever I have a few moments to kill, I pull up Whirly Word and figure out some words.
