## What is WhishperLock?

WhishperLock — Private Encrypted Messaging

WhishperLock is a privacy-first messenger for iPhone and iPad. Chat with friends using end-to-end encryption, protected voice calls, disappearing messages, and secure sharing — with content encrypted on your device before it ever leaves your phone.

MESSAGES ONLY YOU CAN READ
Every text message is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using keys derived on your device. The server stores and forwards ciphertext only — it cannot decrypt your conversations.

UNLOCK WITH FACE ID OR TOUCH ID
Tap an encrypted message to decrypt it. Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, or your device passcode keeps your chats private, even if someone else has your phone.

DISAPPEARING MESSAGES
Send self-destruct messages that start counting down after the recipient reads them. Choose timers from seconds up to 24 hours.

ENCRYPTED FILES & LOCATION
Share photos and documents encrypted end-to-end. Send your current location as an encrypted message — coordinates stay protected inside the ciphertext.

ENCRYPTED VOICE CALLS
Call friends directly from chat. Audio is encrypted in real time and relayed without being stored on our servers. Native CallKit integration for a familiar iPhone calling experience.

FRIENDS & PRIVATE CHATS
Search for users, send friend requests, and chat one-on-one in private encrypted rooms. See when friends are online.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY
• Keys stored in the iOS Keychain
• Room-based encryption — no keys sent over the network
• Push notifications for messages, friend requests, and incoming calls
• Account deletion removes your profile, messages, and friend data

SUBSCRIPTION
WhishperLock offers a free trial, then optional monthly or yearly subscriptions for full access. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
