Thank you. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not telehealth *2022-08-05* I wasn’t sure if this service and I tried to reach out and find out if vets are available. No response. So I decided to chat, I was provided extremely basic care information that is available in any book and online resource. When I tried to clarify if vets were available, I was told “the information I gave you above is telehealth”. No, that is not telehealth. Is it copy and pasting information readily available to anyone. There is no value in this service. I received mine free for one year, luckily because there is nothing to add you can’t get free. ### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible *2021-10-11* I was supposed to get an email with a link for a one year whiskerdocs subscription immediately after my 24petwatch premium purchase. Never got a link. After an hour of waiting, I ended up paying $5 to send a message to a vet over whiskerdocs anyway, and they promised to reply within 24 hours. It’s been over 24 hours and I’ve gotten nothing. I also STILL haven’t received the link to register my whiskerdocs account. I’ve contacted customer service and… nothing. It’s incredibly frustrating because I can’t get into a vet in my area bc they’re so booked up, and I need help determining whether my pet’s issue is serious enough to wait 8 hours at a pet emergency center in a room of sick animals in the middle of covid. TLDR; Whiskerdocs is unresponsive and unreliable ### 1/5 — Terrible *2021-04-30* I never could complete. The system blocked me at every turn. Tried several times. And I haven’t tried in a long while. I received no calls back waited over 5 hours by the phone nothing ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work! *2019-09-25* I’ve been trying to add my dog to this app for 6 months now. I can’t get past the first page! The app crashes every time I try to submit the profile information. Please fix this immediately! ### 1/5 — Completely Pointless. *2019-06-10, version 2.3.0* The app won’t recognize my password even though I’ve reset it THREE TIMES through the website/my email. It knows my username but no matter what, it constantly says my password is wrong. But it works on the website. 🤦‍♀️ Absolutely pointless app. FIX IT PLEASE. (Whiskerdocs itself is absolutely wonderful, though. Don’t let this app deter you from using their services.) ### 1/5 — Deletes Information *2019-03-06* There was an automatic update which has deleted my pets photos and birthdays twice after entering the information and closing out the app. I give up. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2019-01-08* First I couldn’t get the app to open (it kept crashing), and then when I finally got it to stay open once I opened it through the App Store, I tried to finish setting up my dog’s profile, but it gave me an error saying that I missed a field even though I completed all fields on the page. Now it’s crashing again. ### 1/5 — This App doesn’t work *2018-06-02* The main reason why I downloaded this app was to chat with a vet and that function didn’t work. The app crashed every time I attempted to. In addition it didn’t keep my dogs information and I had to renter it every single time I opened the app. This app would’ve been so helpful pending that it actually worked. **Developer response:** Hello Neenze. Absolutely love the current features, and the clear direction you are taking with it. Cannot WAIT for the upcoming features. Keep up the great work! ### 5/5 — WOW! Finally someone did it! DOWNLOAD THIS NOW *2016-03-04* I've been looking forEVER to find an app that had good info on pets, and not only does this do that (article written by real veterinarians) but also! AND THIS IS THE CRAZIEST PART to me at least, I can connect with a vet over the phone or actually chat with them in the app itself. I tested this, it was a US licensed veterinarian I got in touch with and she answered in 10 seconds! She was extremely helpful and I discovered that my dog who has been scratching his ear incessantly needed to go to the vet - appointment was scheduled for the evening and I don't feel like it's because they want my money for a wasted visit a because my regular vet does that. NO MORE CALLING TO ASK IF I SHOULD COME AND HEARING "bring them on in!" As this is a third party who (and I asked) doesn't have physical clinics owned by them to refer you to. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2020-06-21* It forced me to put profile of Lusea in but when I had filed in all fields it would not update. It kept telling me I needed a guid? I couldn’t leave the page. I had to close our app to leave it. Needs work. ### 3/5 — Seems a bit buggy *2020-05-16* I’ve been kicked out of the library. I can’t use the chat feature, and I have high speed internet. Needs improvement. ### 2/5 — Broken: Needs GUID? *2020-08-18* It was working before I logged in. Now it forces me to re-input the info over and over again because it never saves — just says it needs GUID, even though it isn’t mentioned what that is referring to and you fill out all the boxes. Even when exiting the app and trying to boot it up again, it forces you back to the pet profile screen again and the whole process starts again. The only reason it isn’t a one star is because it was working long enough to show me some toxic plants before I logged in. It has potential but the app needs serious work and more frequent updates for these kinds of bugs. ### 2/5 — App crashes, mixed service *2019-07-24* The 2 star is mostly for the app crashing all the time when I try to chat with a vet. I mean that’s pretty much the only useful function of the app! Lucky that they still have a web app, although I got disconnected and reconnected a lot throughout my conversation. As with the service, it’s a mixed bag, but I still got useful information from them every time. I’ve had a doctor who was very nice, very patient, and spent a decent amount of time with me on the phone when my cat was seriously ill and was not responding to treatments. She helped me both informatively and emotionally. Another time I was chatting with a vet, and I felt kind of rushed. It may have been because the connection kept dropping so the vet wasn’t sure if I was still there or not.
