Where is Macallan?

**Developer response:** Hello,

I apologize for the delay, but the AppStore didn't notify me of your review. In the future you can use the in-app email notification if you like to get a much faster response. ;-)

Sorry for the confusion"Macallan" is indeed in the app list of distilleries. It is listed by its official name, "The Macallan" as are "The Balvenie", "The Dalmore", etc.

I understand the confusion, since many, including myself, regularly drop "The" from the names of these distilleries. I am about to update the app with alternate version of these distilleries as well many more new ones that were missing from the list.

This is listed as a free app. But upon downloading it and opening it I received a notification that only the first 5 tastings you add are free. If you want unlimited then it’s $0.99. 

That price is low, don’t get me wrong, but this was labeled as free. Nothing about in-app purchases or subscription fees. It was labeled as free. 

All you have to do is be upfront and honest. 
Thanks but I’ll find another app.

**Developer response:** First of all, sorry for the delay in responding to your comments, it seems Apple was not alerting me to new reviews this year. 

Second, I apologize for you feeling mislead, but it is the App Store that should be adding the “In-App Purchase” note just under the “Free” label. Not sure why they didn’t have there. However it does still show in the lower half of the description.

Good app to log my whiskey tastings. User friendly and addition of whiskey lists is a nice touch. 

I will say, I went on the app after not being on it for a couple of weeks and my list of whiskeys did disappear. May have been a programming issue but I hope that will get fixed

**Developer response:** I am very sorry to hear that you had lost some of your saved tastings! That should never never happen. There is a redundant backup saved to the Files app as well. I haven’t received any other notifications of this happening to others, so it might have been rare issue that was inadvertently fixed in the last update. Please reach out via the help email (find it in a settings) and I can offer further assistance if needed. 

Also, I really apologize about the delay in responding. I didn’t get a notification of this review until today.

This is great for keeping track of your own personal tastings. 
A reference guide written by you for a quick reminder on the last time you had a particular Scotch or Whiskey.

I've added the ability to change the tasting labels around the color chart. 
So if you prefer bourbon rather than scotch you can now add flavor profiles that are more applicable. (You can find this feature on the settings tab.)
Also added "Armenian" to the list of whisky regions and fixed a bug that caused duplication of text in cells with multiple lines to text.

This is a small update to be sure everything is working in iOS 15 and to add a small feature for those who are saving tastings of non-whiskies also. 
For example, you may want to save a few beer tastings and if you set the Type to "Beer," the new option allows you to Hide these tastings from showing in the main tasting list.

I've added all 50 US States to the list of Types for better classification of your tastings.
There is also a new page for viewing Statistics of the number of different types of Whisky you've tasted.

You can now delete tasting by swiping in the main Tastings view.

*Change the Title/Name of a whisky that has already been saved.
*There is now a native iPad view. (It is optimized to be used in 50% or 33% view)
*The size of the font in Notes can now be changed.
*Over 700 new Whiskies added to the list!
