### 1/5 — Good concept but no free version

*2026-06-13*

I’m tired of apps having monthly subscriptions and always being a payment behind them fully, as a consumer I’d rather have an affordable one time payment in this economy.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the thoughtful review! We completely understand subscription fatigue. The subscription covers ongoing costs like content, servers, and updates. We hear you on pricing, and we'll keep listening to feedback like yours as the app grows. In the meantime, the free trial lets you explore the full app for a week before paying anything. Most of all, we appreciate you seeing the potential in the concept. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great idea, room for improvement

I love the concept of a once per day journal that you can get outside perspective on; I think it can be really helpful when going through tough times to get encouragement from real people. There’s definitely more value there than just like asking an ai, and it forces you to confront how you feel each day rather than just posting when you feel like it on a subreddit or something. That being said, it would be nice to see an improvement in the quality of the daily prompt and maybe some sort of communal space? Also maybe like more things to do per day. I don’t really use the quotes, so maybe the app could be more focused on whatever its main objective is, but it’s good start.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this! Reviews like yours genuinely shape where Whisper goes next. You articulated exactly what we hope the daily journal does: real encouragement from real people, once a day, so it becomes a habit rather than a vent. Better daily prompts and more to do each day are both on our radar, and we're thinking carefully about what a communal space could look like without losing the intimacy of one-on-one responses. Thank you for calling out what matters most. We're listening, and there's a lot more coming.
