Reinstalled game, started over and it happened again in another location. Locked in a place where i can do nothing. Hints just keep telling me there is nothing to do here. But this one I felt was a true bait and switch. I played the free part and it was good, interesting and challenging. I didn’t mind paying full price because it had such great reviews. AS SOON AS I made the purchase- it changed. I like the back story in my game as much as anyone - but I want to play not watch a movie. And it was extremely irrational, there was no continuity. And it got glitchy !! I’ve never had that happen before. It’s been a long time since I found a game that I’ve enjoyed as much as this one. My only issue is there was a glitch when I found the craniometer-it broke apart immediately and I did not get an item that I needed. I had to start all over again but wasn’t too upset about it because the rest of the gameplay has been so great. There are a couple of small moments where the translation, while correct, does not match the time period. Not a big deal but it did take me out of the story for a second. Overall, the gameplay is fun-not particularly difficult but not annoyingly easy. And there are a few choose your own moments that were a pleasant surprise. It’s a fast paced game as in there is always something going on in each scene-another tick for me. I just finished a game called ‘MAZE’ which I really enjoyed, but wasn’t that long. Another thing that I really love is when you can customise the settings to ‘custom’ mode or as I know it as it have no patience CBA’ mode! You can’t play full game! *2022-10-08, version 1.0.1* Whether you play the first few scenes for free or PAY FOR THE FULL GAME, you come to a point where it prompts you to purchase the full game. You can’t. It puts you in a loop where it just comes back to the same screen after you try to purchase. I played the free part, then tried to purchase, but it wouldn’t let me. I wrote to Big Fish, who suggested I uninstall the game and try again. I purchased the game before I played it this time. Same result. When I click on ‘Already purchased,’ a pop-up window tells me there is no record of this purchase on my account. So, enjoy the free part. I know it’s a bit old, but my goodness it holds up — terrific story, very tragic but filled with truly heartfelt ideas. Some great puzzles/hops, and an overall continuity that’s often sadly missing from many newer games. It also is on the longish side, which again separates it from newer games.
