## What is WhisperMobile?

WhisperMobile turns speech and audio files into text — entirely on your iPhone or iPad. No cloud, no account, no telemetry. Your recordings never leave your device.

TRANSCRIPTION
• Live transcription from the microphone with a real-time waveform
• Import from the Files app, Voice Memos, AirDrop, or the share sheet
• Local Whisper models (tiny through large-v3-turbo) — download, switch, and delete in-app
• Languages: German, English, automatic detection

AI POST-PROCESSING (Apple Intelligence)
Six actions, fully on-device via Apple Foundation Models:
• Summarize
• Meeting minutes

Plus your own AI actions with free-text instructions.

MANAGE & SHARE
• Searchable transcript library with audio player and waveform
• Tap a segment to jump to that point in the audio; low-confidence passages are flagged

• Share Extension: transcribe audio from any app
• Control Center: "Start recording" right from Control Center

PRIVACY FIRST
WhisperMobile collects no data, uses no tracking, and sends nothing to a server. Transcription and AI run exclusively on your device via the Apple Neural Engine.

REQUIREMENTS
AI post-processing requires an Apple Intelligence device (iPhone 15 Pro or newer, iPad with M-series chip). Transcription runs on any supported device.

This version brings everything new since the last App Store update:

• Eight languages: the app now speaks German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Japanese — interface and transcription alike.
• Translate into the language you pick: the translate action asks which of the eight to translate into, and remembers your choice.
• On first launch the app picks the transcription language to match your device's language.
• Custom AI actions: define your own actions with free-text instructions, on top of the six built-ins (Apple Intelligence devices).
• "Start recording" in Control Center: open the app and start recording in one tap.
• Live Activity & Dynamic Island: see recording and transcription time right on the Lock Screen.
• Low-confidence highlighting: segments recognized with low confidence are visually flagged.
• Action items → Calendar: turn extracted to-dos into calendar events.
• PDF export: share the summary, transcript, and timestamps as a PDF.
• One-tap sharing: the share button now opens the share menu directly, with a progress indicator.
• Complete legal documents: the legal notice and privacy policy are reachable in the app and online at any time.

Transcription and AI still run fully on-device — no cloud, no account, no telemetry.
