If your connection drops for a moment, Whispr reconnects you in seconds instead of ending the call. Calls also close cleanly when a partner leaves, and your history shows accurate times. In video calls, your preview no longer hides behind the buttons — drag it to any corner, one-to-one or in a group. Buttons across the app are a consistent size and easier to tap. We also fixed a rare crash shortly after opening Whispr. Thank you for using Whispr! ### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-20 This update makes connecting to someone nearby far more reliable. Nearby connections now succeed far more often, including repeated attempts that used to fail for no clear reason. Connecting to a different type of device is quicker too. While connecting, you can see each step as it happens, and Whispr no longer reports a failure when the connection is actually working. Your conversations now hold up better when things go wrong. In group calls, a single participant losing connection no longer disrupts everyone else. Sessions also stay steadier while running in the background, so you can switch to music or another app and keep talking. We also fixed a rare issue that could close Whispr when starting a session.
