It’s not loud enough to wake me up, but it does disturb me as I am trying to fall asleep. The first night or two of sleep was ad-free and then last night got woken by 2 ads. I can’t imagine how trying to advertise to people who are trying to sleep is effective. Deal breaker. After starting we we awoken often from a loud click that we THOUGHT was coming from the hotel mechanical room next door. We even complained to the front desk. After two nights of this we realized IT WAS THE APP WAKING US UP! ThThe clicks were coming from the app we both had running on our phones! We tried the app one more night after resetting it and several minutes after starting it the app suddenly starts playing a loud advertisement! The pink noise is still playing but you can hear these voices. It’s really just creepy. ALSO it has little blips or millisecond pauses that can wake the baby up. I know it was for me. The pink noise provides sound enrichment for my ears and helps “reset” them. The best method I’ve found to make it work is to put the iPhone’s actual speaker right next to my ear and slowly move it back and forth. If you have tinnitus or hyperacusis, it means your ears need to reset and are hungry for sound enrichment. Pink noise is the best way to enrich them!! Look up Chris Singleton on YouTube if you think you might have hyperacusis (sensitivity to every days noises).
