撮影状況で刻々と変わる色温度に悩まされていましたが、このアプリで簡単に設定出来て時間短縮化されています。
画面内に表示される色合いとは「色かぶり」の補正値です。仮に+10.0と表示された場合にはマゼンダへ1.0補正すれば良い事になります。

問題はクリップオンのストロボを使用した時の補正値が計測されないのは残念です。

Definitely recommend this especially for the price. I can see this tool becoming more expensive in the future as it’s extremely useful for people in this line of work. Due to the nature of it, it can be slightly off at times but for an app that isn’t using any physical WB cards or anything of that nature it is extremely impressive.

As a cinematographer for over 20 years, I have been looking forever to replace my LightMeter with a digital one on my phone.

I shoot Primarily in LOG and color balance is key to a beautiful image.

This app has been amazing! I highly recommend it.

I’m very happy to have KEV in my bag of photographic tools. It is very useful to me when I’m forced to use a camera with limited white balance controls. 

I use KEV in combination with a white balance card. It’s always interesting to see how different the readings can be reading off the scene compared with reading off if a white balance card.

I can’t believe that if I take a reading with KEV in a room with blue walls the reading can possibly be right, while I know that taking a reading off of the white balance card gives good results every time. 

Taking a colour reading off of a scene that is not inherently neutral in colour balance cannot possible give accurate results. It simply reads the colour being reflected from the scene, which is not the same at all as measuring the colour of the light falling on the scene.

You get bonus points for “Data not collected”. Thank you for that.

I photograph interiors for real estate and vacation properties. I have always relied on AWB plus correction of RAW files in Lightroom.

Last week I photographed a property with multiple shades of yellow on walls, a very yellow hardwood floor, big view windows with lots of daylight and direct sunlight and various types of artificial lighting sources. My standard white balance method produced horrendous results that were tome consuming to process and still awful.

I downloaded the KEV app and reshot the property with custom K setting for each shot. The results are excellent! It’s so easy with the device mounted on hot shoe I’m going to use it for all shots in future. Thank you. 

The price is such a deal for the solution offered. I feel like I stole it. I would be happy to send some extra $$ as I think the app well deserves it.

Presumably because your reading this you want to “measure” colour temperature….this app doesn’t do this it guesses based on what is in the scene. You can do this yourself.

No green/magenta tint adjustment reading in 2024. Lacks the ability to select a specific spot in the frame to get a measurement, like a white balance card that that’s to far away to fill your frame. Waste of money.

This app does not work the way it should. It is beyond basic, it is just point at your subject and a white balance value comes up, however this value is not correct.

I tried it with calibrated studio lights and when changing colour temperature on my lights the values on my screen barely moved, despite my light colour visibly shifting from reddish yellow to bright white.

App also gave readings of nearly 7000, when my lights don’t even go past 5600.

Not worth the money and no way to get a refund.

I purchased the app about a year ago but only recently begin testing it out. So far it seems relatively accurate based on my findings using the xrite color checker. I do however hope they add a green/magenta reading as well to fine tune this using LED with tint sliders.

I’m a professional videographer and editor, I’ve been using this app for 3 weeks now. The color temp it displays is inconsistent. I’ll change the color temp on my bicolor light from 3200k to 5600k and it won’t change. When I move the phone and point it at something else then back to my white balance card it changes, usually to 4900k. 
I was hoping to depend on this app to match temperatures on my lights (they don’t have displays), but I guess I’ll be guessing like I have been all along.  I guess you get what you pay for.

While it seems to give a fairly accurate reading, the save and photo function doesn’t usually work. After taking a photo of the reading you should be able to send it via airdrop or message or email so that you can save the photo. The app itself doesn’t have a library and doesn’t save the images to your own phones photos camera roll. AirDrop and message don’t ever work

Mir erschließt sich die App nicht. 
O.k sie ermittelt den Weißgrad… Allerdings wenn man selber justieren möchte muss man in ein Menü wo man den Kelvinwert verändert, jedoch die Änderung nicht direkt sieht. 
Für das Ergebnis muss erst wieder ins Bild zurück wechseln…
Das dann erstellte Foto ist in der App und kann man dann, mittels Auswahlmenü in Fotos speichern (was ein zusätzlicher Schritt bedeutet)

UND im direkten Vergleich, mit der Standardkamera war das Original besser !

We tried to keep the app minimal and that’s exactly why we have set the compensation menu aside. You don’t like the Interface and too lazy to make a few taps, I’m sorry for you. I wish you do better.

This app is very useful and brief,but can you set a option for setting languages?

I bought this for one particular problematic photo, in which I was shooting a multisource lighting condition, low light with a complex set of materials in the  image

Kev gave me a kelvin number, I dialed it into my image editor, and the resulting image was exactly what I wanted 

So nice 😊
