It started out innocently enough. You were on a tour of the White House, when something goes wrong. You black out, only to discover upon wakening that you are on your own in the White House and you must find a way to escape. The game will take you through the four levels of the White House Residence while you explore and solve puzzles that lead you to success. You will explore from the Yellow Oval Room to the President's bedroom as you work your way through the challenge. From the Bowling Alley to the Sun Room, you will have to use the items at your disposal to solve your quest. The game uses descriptions and graphics, and navigation is easily accomplished through the map itself using a simple tap. And since our mobile devices perform many roles throughout the day, the game automatically saves and loads the game state, making it easy to pick up and play whenever you get the chance. Fans of classic adventures will appreciate the ease of playing while new players to the genre should be prepared to put their thinking cap on. The game is laid out on the actual White House residence. Unlike many others in the APP store right now, this one has a visual, controllable map, which is user friendly, and quite helpful. I agree with some of the other reviews... Finding objects behind pictures/portraits would be great. Safes, holes, keys, so on and so forth... More drawers and cabinets to open... Finding things in the couch or under the rugs. How about something in the "rolled up carpet"? Or obtaining a magnifying glass to look closer at objects to find "hidden" items like in the tree? Or in the kitchen. The Dumbwaiter would have been cool if it would have worked to take you to a "secret" room. In any case, good game worth the 2 bucks, looking forward to more updates!
