However, due to the greedy company who created it, you have to pay monthly in order to use it to its full extent. You must leave your phone charging while using the app otherwise it will drain your battery and the phone will shutdown in the middle of the night. However even if your phone is plugged in, it will not charge above 80% because it gets too hot— you’ll see the warning screen, “iPhone will continue charging once it returns to normal temperature.” Overall it’s a disaster. I’ve used the app for a few months now because it does have A LOT of free options. However the issue I have is not with the fact it’s a subscription. It’s the fact that when you find a sleep option that works with your sleep pattern, brain, etc. when you find what you’re looking for in the free options and you use it for 3 weeks to a month the sound that works for you falls into the “subscription part”, because someone is monitoring the app and realized a specific track is being frequently utilized. That’s the problem. The developers try to FORCE you into a subscription. Just another subscription, the longer you listen to the same sound they add that free sound to the subscription only options.
