## What is White Noise?

White noise, brown noise, pink noise and real rain recordings for sleep, rest and focused work. Pick a sound, press play and settle in. One purchase includes every sound and feature.

REAL SOUNDS, READY OFFLINE
Listen to 12 recordings of nature and everyday places: soft rain, heavy rain, rain on a roof, distant thunder, ocean waves, wind in pine trees, a stream, open-field wind, a fireplace, a fan, an airplane cabin and summer crickets. They come with the app and loop smoothly without an internet connection.

White, brown and pink noise are generated continuously on your iPhone. Each of the 15 sounds has its own illustration, with gentle movement during playback.

MAKE YOUR OWN MIX
Combine up to three sounds and adjust each volume. Try rain with brown noise, or ocean waves with a breeze. Save as many mixes as you like, rename them and adjust them later. Browse the Sounds tab by category or search by name. Tap the heart beside a sound to save it for next time.

SET A SLEEP TIMER
Listen for as long as you like, or set a timer from 1 minute to 12 hours with separate hours and minutes controls. Fade the sound over the final 15, 30, 60 or 120 seconds, or let it stop without a fade. The app remembers your choices.

LISTEN THROUGHOUT YOUR DAY
• Keep sounds playing with your iPhone locked or while using other apps.
• Enable "Play with other audio" to listen alongside music or podcasts.
• Adjust the app's volume independently from your iPhone's volume.
• Pause, resume and see the remaining timer from the Now Playing bar on every screen.
• Use AirPlay and system media controls in standard playback mode.

EVERYTHING INCLUDED
No subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads or account. Recordings are bundled with the app. Your mixes, favorites and preferences stay on your device. Find the recording creators and licenses in Settings.

Light and dark appearances, larger text support, VoiceOver labels and animations that respect Reduce Motion. Available in English and Brazilian Portuguese.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7 — 2026-10-18

Layouts now adapt to iPhone Duo, including partially folded positions. Playback controls, sounds and mixes make use of the expanded display. Search and timer or mix-name drafts stay in place when you resize or rotate the app.

### 1.6 — 2026-10-15

Added an easier way to send feedback and leave an App Store review. Review requests follow completed use, with a long interval between requests.

### 1.5 — 2026-10-08

Soft rain and Rain on a roof now use new recordings. We also reduced low rumble and matched the loudness of every sound for more consistent listening.

### 1.4 — 2026-10-07

A simpler way to listen:

• Browse all 15 sounds in a dedicated Sounds tab, with search and visible favorite buttons.
• Resume a paused sound from any tab with the persistent player.
• Find playback, sound volume, audio output and sleep timer controls together on Listen.
• Set custom timers with hours and minutes instead of a long menu.
• See the sounds in your saved mixes and confirm before deleting a mix.
• Playback controls respond faster, and the Lock Screen supports Pause and Play.

We also clarified the English and Portuguese text and improved support for larger text and increased contrast.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-24

Better sound. Every recording was reprocessed to remove a background rumble and a slow wobble in volume that could be heard under rain and other steady sounds. All fifteen sounds are now matched to the same loudness, so switching between them no longer jumps in level.

The lock screen shows large artwork that follows your light or dark setting, the sounds you are playing, and a countdown while a sleep timer runs.

Artwork in the playback bar and in your lists keeps its proportions instead of being stretched, and tapping anywhere on the bar opens the player.
