Tried for days and it still won’t connect my chessnut board to lichess. Which is the *whole freaking point* of the app.

I’ve tried a million fixes trust me.

I’ll change my review if they fix it. Right now- don’t even bother unless you enjoy submitting bug reports.

### 2.13.3 — 2026-08-09

Signing in works again on iPhone and iPad

- The App Store build refused every sign-in with "Invalid email or password",
  even when the email and password were right. Nothing was wrong with the
  account: the part of the app that talks to the server was missing from the
  released build. Fixed, and the release process now checks for it before a
  build can be uploaded.

Also in this release

- Everything from builds 217 and 218, which had not reached the App Store or the
  Play Store yet: puzzles that wait for your physical board, clearer solution
  playback, the home-screen pull-down fix, faster messages and store, and the
  board clock fixes. See the entries below.

### 2.10.0 — 2026-07-26

Analysis board

- The engine's best move and its evaluation now show on a connected DGT clock,
  so you can keep your eyes on the board. It reads like `+1 E2>E4`.
- Knocking a piece over no longer costs you the line. Put the pieces back where
  you were and the analysis picks up exactly where it left off, keeping
  anything you tried in the meantime as a variation.
- Recorder moved from the play grid down to the tools list, so the grid stays
  two even columns now that Analysis Board sits in it.

- Puzzles: castling is accepted again. Castling was offered as a king move but
  then scored as wrong, even when it was the solution.
- Puzzles: a hint for castling now points at the square the king lands on
  instead of the rook's square, and a castle played for you highlights the
  same way.

  in the past, uncover why its chess master vanished twenty years ago, and
  earn each villager's piece of the story by beating them at the board.
- Six chapters with six opponents, from the friendly baker to the vanished
  master himself, each played on your real chessboard.
- Narrated intro with atmospheric ink artwork, animated characters with
  voices and expressions, and chapter progress saved on your device.
- Chapter 1 is free; the rest of the story is part of WhitePawn Pro.
- Story content is currently in German; more languages will follow.
