I actually prefer this to Millennium’s dedicated app because it works consistently and I don’t have to fuss with API tokens. And no personal data collection! Which is the *whole freaking point* of the app. I’ve tried a million fixes trust me. I’ll change my review if they fix it. Perfect! but unfortunately this is still very beta... ps: and no updates either ### 1/5 — Very buggy *2021-12-26* Very often when I initiate a Lichess game the app shows “Waiting for an opponent” for a very long time, but if I check the main Lichess website it shows that the game started and already aborted because I failed to make my move… The app shows the green circle, which usually means that the opponent is online, even when he left the game several minutes ago. So when my opponent doesn’t make a move for a few minutes I have to go to the main Lichess website to check if the opponent have left the game and claim victory if this is the case, but if he hasn’t I cannot continue in the app and cannot use my e-board to finish the game. Sometimes the app stops highlighting the opponent’s moves on my Millennium e-board, but if move pieces on the board to an invalid position it stats highlighting again, thus looks like a software bug in the app. The app doesn’t remember game options like rated/unrated, opponent rating range, time controls. ### 2/5 — Freezes on Puzzles *2025-06-06, version 2.8.14* Sadly the puzzles don’t work and freeze while doing the first move. Playing on Chessnut go. Certainly would love to have puzzles on my go with led and all! Make it happen please! ### 2/5 — Sound setting *2022-10-26* There’s a setting to kill the sound while playing against the computer. It makes no difference how it’s set, you’ll still get sound. In the main menu, the sound setting is for the rate of speech and the language. Ich kann nur in Verbindung mit dem Chessnut Air berichten und da macht die App einen tollen Job. Fehler sind mir so nicht aufgefallen und denke der Entwickler wird noch weitere pfiffige Ideen umsetzen. Der nette Kontakt zum Entwickler bei Fragen oder Hinweisen runden das positive Gesamtbild ab. Die zwischenzeitlichen Probleme mit der Übermittlung der gegnerischen Züge beim Chessnut Air waren nach einer Neuinstallation der App gelöst! Darüber hinaus sehr netter Entwicklerkontakt. Nach Freigabe der klassischen DGT-Bretter durch Apple (@apple: Wo ist das Problem?) und anschließender Implementierung durch Khadim gibt es den 6.
