Anyway, I do love it, but it didn't have enough features for me. I would love it if you add the features underlining and some extra fonts for us to choose. I uninstalled it because I found other apps that have these features, but if you add them I will rate this five again. ### 4/5 — Wonderful! *2014-01-18, version 1.5.2* I highly recommend whitespace. It's easy to use and the organization feels natural. Inside the app, the option to upgrade to the pro version for better options is mentioned, but never thrust in your face. The ads, if there are any (I can honestly say I haven't noticed) are so small as to be nearly invisible. One f the best features, I think, for many, is that it requests your password each time you open the app, making it more secure even than iTunes, which requests it only if it has been fifteen minutes since your last purchase. However, this can cause problems: when switching to the open app through the multitasking feature, it often crashes before, during, or after asking for your password. Very, very occasionally, it is then near-impossible to open the app without it crashing and a full restart is needed. This is the one and only problem with whitespace, and while I would love to see it fixed, I implore you not to let it get in your way of purchasing this app. You won't regret it. ### 4/5 — Potential. *2013-09-05* Executes its features in an interesting way that is fresh. I used it every day. PLEASE look at the updated date, I am pretty sure the developer has given up on the app. There is a bug in this app that if your folders get too big, the app freaks out and crashes. They told me to use their backup system, exporting the data to iTunes and then importing it back. After I tried that, all folders regardless of size also made the app crash. I emailed them about it and they said they were going to fix it in an update. Almost THREE years later, still no update. This app is awesome but you can't trust it. It's only .99 for the app not 1.99 and it's the exact same app. Looks and everything. ### 2/5 — Data corruption = locked out of app *2014-02-01* I was enjoying the use of Whitespace until something happened in my notes (who knows what) that caused the app to crash. Too late to fix it; the corrupt data is stuck in there and the app now crashes on startup, every time, making it unusable. I guess I have to reconsider my distaste for Evernote… ### 2/5 — No Time For Fumbling *2013-09-16* Heres the thing. I like this app... LOVE its text input method, but i cannot stand having to go back after almisr rvery word to correct my fat finger fouls!!! Why cant it even insert an apostrophe into the word "cant"?!! Im going ti have to uninstall. Sorry! ### 3/5 — GREAT APP BUT NEEDS AN UPDATE *2024-10-02* I’ve been using this for years and it’s a good app for notekeeping. Very useful. I just tried to use today and ran into an issue. I made a new note with an attachement. I needed to delete it after and it will not allow me to. It pops up the button for deleting but goes away before I can click it — or if I do, there is no action that proceeds it. ### 3/5 — Crashing *2013-10-27* I love the concept and idea of this app, and would give it a 5 star review, but the past few times I have tried to use the Whitespace app, it crashes and there's no end to the opening and crashing of the app. I've exited out of the new iPhone task manager, restarted my phone a bunch and it hasn't fixed the issue. I lost a lot of information due to this. Once fixed I will update my review to a 5 star. ### 3/5 — Noooo! *2013-09-14* Why the adds? It allows me to take notes with a text editor. I can organize by subject for easy reference. The best feature is that when my iPod was recently replaced I didn't lose anything!! This app allows you to email your notes or back them up in iTunes to your computer. Quit looking for another app and download this app!! I have the upgraded version and don't have any problems with it at all. Much continued success to your team! ### 5/5 — Great for organising *2013-09-13* I was previously using the standard notes app to record ideas make notes etc but when I found this it changed everything you can organise all your notes into category's and even do basic word processing making it even useful for writing.
