## What is WhiteStar StarDrop?

WhiteStar's StarDrop is an anywhere-to-anywhere, Post-Quantum-encrypted file transfer system that allows you to send files, pictures, videos and more (of any size of course!) to any StarFiles server.  If your company is already using StarFiles, StarDrop is your mobile solution, fully integrated into the WhiteStar ecosystem.  That means quick, fully encrypted file transfers to and from anywhere in the world over the WhiteStar Secure Overlay Network.  

Transfers do not pass through a Cloud, and thus are much faster than other solutions, with full end-to-end pure Post-Quantum Cryptography category 5 implementing ML-KEM-1024, ML-DSA-87, SHA-512, and AES-256 algorithms.  This protects your data against not just traditional brute-force attacks, but also secures your data against quantum superposition and factoring.  New private keys are generated every time you start a transfers, with unique keys rolled on every packet, making your file transfers incredibly safe, even in hostile environments. 

Importantly,  because WhiteStar StarDrop is not bound by the technical limitations of TCP/IP, and instead uses dynamically scaled packet size over the WhiteStar Network, there is not a 1:1 relationship between keys and content, making it far harder to intercept network frames containing key exchange information, let alone deciphering keying information.  This is a marked improvement over older systems that utilize SFTP, AFP, Wireguard and other network security solutions for transferring data remotely.  

And of course, because it's fully integrated into the WhiteStar ecosystem, you can optionally receive detailed sensor data on data transferred through your organization's WhiteStar Files servers - but importantly, this data ALWAYS stays within your organization's control, is fully private, and is not seen by anyone outside of your company.  Plus, StarDrop is integrated into the WhiteStar Dashboard for quick visibility into network traffic (that only your organization can see), email notifications on completion of StarDrops, enterprise-level server access controls and more!

StarDrop encryption is automatic, and doesn't require you to worry about encrypting or decrypting your files, making or managing passwords, or teaching clients how to use complex cryptography tools.  We do the hard part for you, so you can focus on what you do best and let us handle the heavy lifting of complex state-of-the-art cryptography.
