They offer an average price for bottles however the prices are well out of date and very inaccurate. I’ve spent a lot of time entering my collection and especially love the ability to add my own tasting notes. But there hasn’t been an update for a year now and I feel like the company is no longer invested in this app. PLEASE won’t someone fix this?! ### 3/5 — Great App When It Works *2022-04-13, version 23* I really want to like this app, but it has so many buggy issues that it’s making me consider using something else. It won’t find a whiskey when I search it using the search feature, but then when I scroll through, it’ll be there. This issue is especially prevalent when trying to search your collection. There is also an issue of then you hit the “load more” button, it’ll just load the same whiskeys it’s already shown. Again, I really like it when it works, but it seriously need some work before I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. ### 4/5 — Big database, great support, app is slow *2021-12-11, version 22* I use this App really often. The database is very big, and if some really rare whisky is missing, I write a feedback, and most times it is added very quickly. The tasting notes from the community and from the distiller are very good. What I really miss is the abilty to sort "my ratings" alphabetically. I rated a lot of whiskys, and it is difficult to find a special rating. This feature is horrible! It rarely brings up anything that matches what I’ve typed, and when it does, adding fails 90% of the time. I’ll select a bottle, after many minutes of “adding” it asks what I paid, then goes back to “adding” for minutes, then is never actually added to the app. I gave 2 stars just because of the news feature. ### 3/5 — Great app, worryingly slow! *2021-05-21, version 22* I love this app for recording all the whiskies I’ve tried and bought over the years. Nothing like it. Slightly concerned about how slow the app is becoming though. It either needs updating or I’ll have to use something else as I do fear it will not run properly or shut down and I’ll lose everything!! Please, please, please give us a slicker update. It would be nice to just have a drop down to scroll from because the text input option is very frustrating and some just don’t show up! Good feature to add notes , haven’t tried using it but I see value in it to be able to be comparing with others I wish the devs luck with this , I think it has great potential with some updates and tweaks ### 2/5 — In desperate need of an update. *2021-03-27, version 22* This is probably the most suitable whisky app for what I use it for personally, the tasting note wheel is fantastic, and the idea of pooling together community notes into a viewable display on each whisky is brilliant. Yet, as time goes on and the lack of updates take their toll, it’s becoming increasingly frustrating and difficult to use. Bugs everywhere, slow, and not even formatted to the newer generation of larger screen iPhones (which are years old at this point!). The Whizzky iPhone app is now getting to the point of becoming unusable. Please give this app a much needed update! ### 3/5 — Could be great but... *2021-03-06, version 22* This app has so much potential, but it just seems like the really simple things have been overlooked. The collection part is great, and the navigation is pretty foolproof. It has an extensive number of bottles from across the world, but could be even better if regularly updated. However... There’s no option to search by country, region, or distillery. This seems like an pretty weird oversight for this type of app. The search feature... is ok... it seems like it tries to live search a database as you type, but it’s super laggy, and returns results that aren’t even close. If I’m looking up Lagavulin, it shouldn’t bring back Buffalo Trace as the first result. If the search could be refined by country, region, or distillery, it would be an amazing search tool. The connectivity seems to be an issue. I’m sitting about 8 feet from my router and have full bars, but half the time when I try to open a bottle from a search it says there’s a poor internet connection. It’s becoming difficult to find an app that has a robust ‘Collection’ option, so I’ll stick with this one for now and hope the overall operation of the app improves. ### 3/5 — Unfulfilled potential *2021-02-25, version 22* The foundations of the app are great but it kept giving database connection issues both on WiFi and cell. If I could put that on the app I could very effectively keep track of how many I have left and which is indeed empty.
