Why in the can I not read the story? I click on it in the video pulls up. I don’t want to watch the video. I want to read the story. ### 3/5 — Fair app *2025-08-20* This app is nothing like viewing on TV. Since I am on the go frequently I was hoping to bring local news with me. But there are so many repetitive commercials and the app stops frequently saying “ will be right back” that I view more commercials and hear more silence than news. ### 2/5 — Used to like, too many ads now *2024-06-12* I’ve used this app for years, and I like the style of WHNT as a station. But the interface is harder now to go forward and back, and both the top and bottom of the screen is covered in ads. The news simply isn’t worth reading between the ads. I don’t want to watch NextStar national news. I want to watch my local news on repeat. I still used this app based on it being local. When it would be down on occasion I would try and watch other local apps but hated their national stream as well. I will be deleting the app asap. So disappointed! ### 1/5 — Unusable. It is designed for those that can “watch” the news while they are at work, not those of use that may need to catch a “quick read” of a breaking new item. Very disappointed. There are less articles of interest that before. Maybe you should have considered updating your news articles more often than once a week instead of revamping in app to something so unappealing. Use live in Muscle Shoals. Some day hope to move back. Anyway I was able to keep up with news out of Huntsville and surrounding areas.. Now I can’t 🥺😢. Is there a reason why?? Hopefully someone can explain why. iPhone user.. It seem to be maybe with app update hear lately.. I would like hear back from you please. The local news setting for my city and county are spot on and they cover all important news with no bells and whistles which I like. I don’t have to do a lot of searching and they include you to be able to report news straight from the app and report corrections if you find one. I rarely do and it’s only simple typos to help get those corrected.
