## What is Who got Mydata?

How many companies have your personal information?

Probably far more than you think.

The reason I built this app is every day, we voluntarily share pieces of our identity. We fill out medical forms, apply for jobs, finance a car, sign apartment leases, open bank accounts, shop online, register warranties, join loyalty programs, visit new doctors, enroll our children in school, and create accounts on countless websites.

With every form, another company may receive your name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, driver's license, Social Security number, financial information, or other sensitive personal data.

Months become years.

Most of us including myself can't remember where we shared our information, what was collected, or whether we still do business with those companies today.

Yet many organizations may continue storing that information long after we've moved on.

Who Got MyData helps you build a personal record of where and when your information has been shared.

Simply scan a form or manually add an entry to create a timeline of your personal data disclosures. View every company, the date you shared your information, and exactly which types of personal information were provided.

Many privacy laws give individuals the right to request deletion of personal information in certain situations. Most people simply don't know which companies have their data anymore.

Who Got MyData gives you a practical way to organize that information so you can make informed privacy decisions.

Your personal information is valuable.

Know where you've shared it.
Understand your exposure.
Take control of your digital footprint.

This app is all about protecting privacy. So we do not store any of your information you are tracking. All information you record stay in your device. We do not store or track those.
