Most "8D audio" is one stereo file with a panning effect baked in. Whorl works differently: every layer is a separate source, spatialized live on your iPhone as it orbits your head. That is why you can change the speed mid-session, why head tracking works, and why each layer can circle at its own pace.

• Tone centers: the nine solfeggio frequencies plus 432 Hz, each voiced three
  ways — pure, fifth, or a warm pad — and pairable with any texture bed.
• 402 soundscapes in total, every one synthesised on your device. Nothing
  streams, nothing downloads, and it all works in airplane mode.
• A blend plays its tone and its bed as two separate orbiting sources, so they
  circle you at different points.
• New Metal visualiser: four calm scenes — Liquid, Bokeh, Waves and Ripples —
  moving with the orbit rather than reacting to it.
• Record a 20-second clip of the live scene with your session's audio, and
  share it anywhere.
