## What is Who's First? Decide Together?

Settle one question without an argument: who goes first?

Pick the way that fits the moment:

• Chooser — everyone places one finger on the screen at once
• Tap In — each person taps once to join a numbered group of up to 50
• Pinball — 2–12 people tap near their seats, then someone flicks a ball between clear equal-area dividers

Who’s First? pairs tactile board-game pieces with eight complete visual worlds. Each style changes the layered board surface, ink, controls, rings, numbered chits, dividers, and Pinball material—not just the participant colors. A simultaneous three-finger tap safely shuffles to a different world and saves it without clearing the group. In Pinball, the ball appears under your finger once the gesture becomes a flick, then launches from that exact clamped release point in your direction. If ordinary bounces already reach the fairly selected seat, nothing changes. Otherwise, exactly one contact — a wall, or a seat ring the ball kicks off — visibly flexes once to preserve exactly equal odds. Where the visible ball stops owns the result.

• Three playful ways to make one group decision
• Secure on-device randomness and mathematically equal Pinball regions
• True simultaneous multitouch in Chooser
• Numbered participants, so color is never the only identifier
• Eight complete board-game visual worlds, saved only on your device
• Three-finger color shuffle with a VoiceOver-friendly equivalent action
• A flat Five Seats, One Table icon designed for adaptive Home Screen appearances
• Portrait and landscape support
• Works completely offline
• No accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking

Great for board games, classrooms, chores, teams, family decisions, and any moment when the group needs one clear answer.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-09-08

Improved timing and haptic feedback

### 1.1 — 2026-09-05

Now on iPad. Rings, chits, seats, and the ball all scale with the screen, so the board fills the table instead of floating in the middle of it — a layout designed for the larger screen rather than a stretched-up phone.

Pinball updates. The seat rings are real obstacles on the table now: the ball strikes them, they light up, and it comes off them the way it does off a bumper in an actual pinball machine.

A first-run introduction. Who's First? opens with a short three-page tour of Chooser, Tap In, and Pinball, so a new group can tell the three modes apart before the first decision. Each mode also shows a one-time card the first time you open it, and a single tap on the board dismisses it. You can replay the tour any time from Settings → Show Welcome Again.

Everything still works completely offline, with no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking.
