Like letting you store your card or allowing your saved card to auto fill. Every other app manages it except Wickes. ### 2/5 — Needs apple wallet support for discount code *2025-04-03, version 2.7.3* App needs development to include the ability to add discount code into digital wallet. A feature that is available in many apps ### 3/5 — Push notifications *2025-02-16* The app works fine. Some parts are just links to web pages so you have to log in again, which is lazy. You will get notifications that aren’t notifications at all. Every Sunday night you’ll get a message telling you to stock up on essentials or prepare for the week ahead. This feels like an abuse of push notifications. You can turn them off, so the app won’t tell you anything you’d actually want to know. It’s not particularly respectful to customers, as I see it. ### 2/5 — Checkout issues *2024-06-28, version 2.6.9* The PayPal checkout gets stuck in a loading loop and won’t complete despite a perfectly fine internet connection. ### 3/5 — Widget not showing barcode *2024-04-17, version 2.6.8* Unable to put a widget on as it just showing a blank widget on iPhone 5 Pro no barcode showing. Update to app required I think ### 2/5 — 10% off is nice but app painful *2024-01-07* Many issues with this app…it is very slow. Allows you to search for items but then won’t let you click them. The only way you can view a product is if you search and select it from the auto generated drop down box meaning you have to be very precise with what you’re searching for. Many occasions it won’t let you delete the auto generated 1 in quantity. Also can’t checkout as the green box just turns white. Wickes is a good place to buy diy products from. Some products are good value, others expensive but you get everything in one place rather than co-ordinating multiple deliveries for a project. I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it and this way it is working So, in essence this app is the website version of the main website It is handy to have the TradePro barcode on a separate button but that’s all The search function is good Where it needs improving is that this app needs to OPEN to start of It needs to keep you logged in even after an update Once logged in, it needs to remember the customer number, in order to enter the competitions when available Currently (November 2023) it is no opening up so, I am using StoCard app to have the barcode to hand. ### 1/5 — Not the best of apps *2023-10-08, version 2.6.4* Probably one of the worst apps I’ve used. In the end I’ve only used it for the barcode, but when that became a problem, I had to screenshot the barcode to use it. Instead you have the embarrassing wait at the till. If the network is slow, which it often is inside my local store it’s even more of a delay. Please can we have the card added to Apple Wallet? **Developer response:** Hi, thank you for the feedback. The option to add the TradePro discount pass to Apple Wallet is on the app roadmap for 2021, so we hope to bring this feature to you in the first half of next year. Payments have always been a pain, app can’t remember any card details nor use the info stored on my phone? Latest update (July-23) is making the app unusable. The new update has arrived and now I cannot log in. I have reset my password and my local Wickes store cannot help. Where do I go now? EDIT: the customer support is fantastic- I was having major issues but with a call and an email it’s all resolved. It would he useful if the app had a spot on the account page that explicitly says “TradePro Number” Otherwise can’t fault it! **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback. In the meantime, if you do require your TradePro ID, if you tap the discount icon in the app the discount barcode will pop up. Under the barcode is a 17 digit number, the last 10 digits of this are your TradePro ID. Thanks ### 4/5 — Update? *2020-04-20* Every time I open the app I get a message that a new version is available but when I click update and go to the App Store there is no update it just says open. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We have a small bug in the app that means this "new version available" message is incorrectly appearing when no actual new version has been released. This big will be fixed in our next app update, which we plan to release before the end of April. Apologies for the inconvenience of this incorrect message appearing when you open the app. ### 4/5 — Great app *2020-03-21* Can you set a default location for click and collect? 99% of the time I use my local store, yet when doing click and collect I have to input the location for EVERY item I add to basket.
