Then depending on how you zoom in or out on either radar view can give you conflicting storm data. Then they are times where the radar just starts flashing and you have to kill the app and start over. Too bad as the radar features of the app used to work almost flawlessly and now I need to confirm by going to another app. ### 3/5 — Need a Widget *2021-02-20* Need a Widget. Appears to be nothing but a screen shot of the storm two weeks ago. Have reinstalled the app and no change. ### 1/5 — Map is broken *2026-06-27* The maps showing precipitation are broken and cause the app to crash. Now it’s annoying and no where near as good. Please make the map go back to the way it was. The storm tracks is all messed up and the weather warnings block out the radar image. You can change how light or dark the perception is, but the warnings absolutely cover the radar perception. Please stop being in our faces with these unnecessary texts. Email and call all advertisers to advise them to pull any ad $$$. Show them the viewers are behind Joe Crain and his objective criticism of their asinine CODE RED weather alerts. Tell the advertisers to move to WAND and WCIA as that is were the viewers are going in protest!!! ### 2/5 — No News Feed *2026-03-05* I’m not sure what’s going on but I used to be able to watch livestream videos of the news, Alerts and weather reports. Now I Only receive updates on the weather radar. Very frustrating! Also, love how the data is entered in by the meteorologists themselves. That is the strength of the app. Whereas, other apps may rely one one model or a computer throwing data at you. At times during weather emergencies I need to flip between different map apps and when i come back to this app I have to wait for the welcome screen to load again before it goes back to the map view.
