And then I went into my call log and I noticed that I’m getting calls from other area codes that I have not blocked that are being blocked. I don’t know why this may be callers that I’m expecting to get calls from so I don’t know why. Then I made a change in the settings and now everything is going into my recent calls, including the ones that I have blocked through this app. Now I’m really confused. It doesn’t make sense so I need some TechSupport. Thank you in advance! ### 5/5 — Best of a horrible solution *2026-02-11, version 9.5* This seems to be the cheap fix when getting 10 or so calls a day saying you have a 70,000k loan waiting for your approval. I block entire area codes. I have not found a better solution but I really wish the calls never showed up in my call log and if I never got the voice mails. You want get the call but you will still see the little badge notification and I be much happier if I never knew they were calling 10 times a day at all. ### 5/5 — Updating - Wonderful app! *2026-01-28, version 9.4* *******Update: I did buy it for 1 month at the low dollar price to really try it out and it is doing more than my AT&T armor app, hiya and iPhone combined. It finally is blocking these dreaded loan calls and I prob will invest in the actual purchase of the subscription going forward. I just wish iPhone wouldn’t let blocked numbers voicemails to pop thru. I’m still getting those. Even tho I was able to only block the area code and the first 3 digits of the numbers since the area codes alone would be too many numbers to block, it has cut down on these daily scam loan calls from coming through. Great product. Highly suggest!********** I literally installed this 2 days ago to see if it would work on these loan calls I wanted to block area codes. 2 days in and barely without a free trial to see if it would work for me without purchase first, it’s asking for me to continue to purchase a plan. Why would I purchase if in 2 days I don’t know if this is even working for me? Secondly, I can’t block full area codes. There is a cap at 10,000,000. And if I put a whole area code it tells me it’s over that. I have to put the area code and the first 3. Going to uninstall since it looks like it isn’t solve my problem. I did get less calls the last two days. Und noch etwas: Die Optionen „WideProtect-1”, „WideProtect-2” usw. in den Telefoneinstellungen haben nichts mit Ländervorwahlen zu tun. I downloaded this app in 2021 and it has been a lifesaver for me regarding spam calls. I hardly have any spam calls anymore and when I do it takes less than 20 seconds to add the number to the block list. When I moved a few years ago I accidentally ended up with a 405 area code here on Phoenix. And for years since have gotten Spam calls almost every week day. None of the apps has worked and none allowed me to block the entire 405 area code. Then I ran across WideProtect and decided to try it out. Didn't expect it to actually work and certainly didn't plan on giving up any of my money for it!! I was wrong! This really works!
