I cannot change text size, and on clocks i cannot change size of timezone. If those were fixed, i would update this review to a 4/5 stars. ### 2/5 — Setting sliders not functioning *2021-10-12, version 4.0.0* I tried to change the size of a font and the slider was unresponsive. I tried a variety of different fonts with no luck. Tried to send an email to the dev from within the app, but the send option wouldn't work. Appears that the app has issues with ios 15.0.2. Try to add a new block to a widget, and it briefly shows the available options then exits back to the menu. Keeps telling me I can only have 4 widgets in the free version. Yes, I know. But I’ve only got one and I’m not trying to add a new one, I’m trying to edit an existing one. I’d pay for it, but the quality isn’t good enough for me to take the leap. ### 2/5 — poor image quality *2021-05-21, version 3.0.3* no matter how hd your image is whenever you use it as a background the quality is tremendously dropped ### 4/5 — Issues with the widgets *2021-03-01, version 2.0.3* I love Widgeridoo I find it easier to use than other widget apps and it’s worth getting the pro however the one consistent problem I have is that the widgets sometimes don’t update on the Home Screen once I change something. I left a widget over night hoping it will update once I wake up but it never did. I created a new widget but it only ever showed the default empty widget even after I’ve changed it multiple times. Hope this gets resolved because other than this it’s a really good app ### 3/5 — Custom Widgets Not Working *2021-01-26, version 1.5.0* Great app, but custom widgets are not working. But it keeps crashing when I’m building my widget. Mainly when I add a calendar or reminders blocks. ### 3/5 — Decent app overall but there is a small problem *2021-01-05* Hi, I have a problem with the app. As I read in another review you’re supposed to be able to edit the first widget (correct me if I’m wrong). Though when I tried to do so it said that I needed to buy the pro version to do so, at first I was able to edit it then later on it brought up the pro version message. So I’m confused if you took out that feature or the new update might’ve messed that up? ### 3/5 — Good potential but.. *2021-01-04* I got this app because i just got ios 14 and want to hop on the train to customize my phone. It took me about half an hour to figure out my way around the app and when I tried adding an image in half of my widget, the image quality came out really poor even though the original image I tried to add in is crystal clear. It’s possible there’s some way to fix this, but I haven’t found it yet. Also don’t see a way to edit the image you’re trying to put in? Like to crop it. Can create medium widget with 3 pics from photos. Install blue box placeholder. Tap to edit while still wiggling. Get “choose widget” screen, which just spins for 10 mins, never letting me choose widget I created. Emailed developer, and appreciate the quick response but his instructions to “restart device” doesn’t work. Same problem. Other widget apps work flawlessly including with photos. The logo of the music icon (the note) is very pixelated. Even the background image I chose came out pixelated, and it’s very high def. Second, you can’t see the music (playlist icon, album, etc.). Third, there is no way to change the font color so it is distinct from the foreground color, which means the middle part is not legible. I had to do lots of trial and error and after a couple of hours I was confidently making my own widgets. I gave it 5 stars because it’s NOT SUBSCRIPTION (single purchase) and only $4.99. I wish there’s a way to share my widgets though. **Developer response:** Thank you! Actually if you are editing/building a widget on bottom right there’s a share button. You can share your widgets to your friends as a file or a simple link. Hope this helps! ### 5/5 — La mejor *2021-10-16, version 4.0.0* De todos la aplicaciones esta es la más cómoda para realizar mis necesidades ### 5/5 — Did just what I wanted in an elegant way *2021-06-16, version 3.3.0* I wanted to create a widget that would display Covid-19 new cases and infection rate data for my state using the covidactnow.org json data api. Searched the app store and found Widgeridoo. I got a proof of concept working in a matter of a few minutes thanks to the great json view mode and it only took a few more to get conditional background colors working based on data values. Only criticism is that for some reason the app didn’t show up right away when I wanted to actually add the widget, but this issue seemed to resolve itself. One feature suggestion would be additional operators like < > <= etc. when setting up overrides. Thanks for the app I’m sure I will find more uses for it and will recommend to friends.
