Widget is the title of the app and yet, no widget. I truly thought this was the answer and now after seeing reviews from 3 years ago citing the same shortcoming, I have removed the app. I nearly bought it because I want to use the widget on my lock screen. 

These are not the widgets you’re looking for.

The shortcuts option in the app makes the app crash when it tries to load the shortcuts for 43 inch Roku TVs and up.

Works as a roku remote, but at least on iOS 15.3 it doesn't seem to register a widget, so there's no reason to use this over the official roku app. Would be 5 stars if there was actually a widget, but its kinda pointless without it.

To many advertisements. Every time you push a button the advertisements pop up.

**Developer response:** Hello,
You shouldn’t be seeing an advert pop up every time you press a button. The only time you should see a full screen advert is when you press one of your channels in the app. We chose this point on purpose so if you was launching for example the YouTube app the full screen ad would pop up while the app is loading on the TV at a point where you you be waiting anyway.

Connected to my Roku- Have the widget and all but it doesn’t work at all. I’m connected but nothing is working I’m just slamming buttons and getting zero results. Not even working on the 3 other household Roku’s.
Waste of time.
