Useless for what I need for because of this tiny issue. Pls fix it **Developer response:** Thanks for the review. Yeah it’s a tough one, to make the audio play when the app isn’t running needs background modes which is a compromise. The notifications don’t make a sound if your phone is on silent which is usually the case. For an app that does this and only this, they could have made it look decent. Switched to a different app. ### 5/5 — Beautifully Simple *2021-02-06* I looked high and low for a simple timer app and this is by far the best and most simple. The great iOS 14 type widget (can be placed anywhere on your phone) was icing on the cake and allows me to easily keep and eye on the timer without having to open the app. The timer also allows for multiple repetitive intervals (ie set a one hour timer for 5 intervals meaning it will be a 5 hour total timer and ding each hour) which is great for so many things. I would like a refund. ### 1/5 — Terrible app, drains battery, had to delete *2024-07-20* Useless and also apparently a silent background battery killer (battery usage by app was 30% for a whole week according to batt settings), even if you only use it once and delete the widget from lock screen, it’s still chugging along in the background, draining your battery. **Developer response:** Hi thanks for the review and feedback. I will look into the battery usage, sounds related to some recent changes to the audio engine. ### 1/5 — “Widget” Timer has no widgets *2024-06-12* After trying out the app and seeing if I could get a timer widget for my Lock Screen, I couldn’t get a widget to come up there or even the Home Screen. I reached out to the customer support email and they never got back to me. I also decided to get the paid membership to see if that was the problem but the widgets never showed up. Definitely a failed app that doesn’t fulfill its purpose. **Developer response:** Hi Tyler I respond to every email, I’m not sure what happened to yours. Widgets definitely do work, it’s the main purpose of the app! Please try restarting your device. Every review is super important to a little indie app like this.
