The developer has been very responsive on Reddit and added new features and squashed some bugs pretty quickly. Even though I get extract what I needed for free, I’m paying the one-time $3.99 Pro fee (thank you for not making it subscription) to support the developer for being quick at adding new feature requests and debugging. Minus one-star because it’s not super easy to figure out at first, but once you understand how to use it, easy enough. Also minus a star because it’s primarily just for day view. Not historical viewing of data. Would be nice to compare yesterday to today, but the 14-day graph is useless with no X or Y labels. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2023-08-22, version 1.11.0* My only real complaint is that the text size for the Lock Screen widgets is way too tiny. I turned off my iPhone (IOS 16.3) and turned it back on and still no widgets. ? It's definitely my go-to widget app there. On iPad, I can't get the Triple Widget to display my agenda or reminders. I deleted 5 of my existing IPhone widgets when I found this app could put them all in one widget. And still make it look nice! But... the app is often very slow, and when I put a reminder into Siri it could be hours before it shows on the widget. Sometimes a have to open the app for it to update. I think this could be due to the amount of things the app does. Some of my calendars have times such as 12am-12am like my canvas one. Basically that means on the day it's due it becomes useless to me as it doesn't display on the widget. I can't change the due time on the event. I think at least one other person will have a problem with this. I bought it for that so that kind of negates what I want to use it for. Another problem I've come across is that the sleeping time doesn't update through the day. I sleep several times a day, all recorded through my Apple watch but it only records my first sleep. ### 5/5 — Take back everything I said before! *2020-10-28, version 1.3.7* Update: The developer has made some significant improvements to the app. It now has a permanent place on my home screen. I’ve got a few thoughts that might help to improve it further, but I’m impressed with all this app has to offer. Developer responded, says he is working on these issues. Thanks! I’ll be keeping an eye on this app’s progress. Definitely has potential. This app has some issues making it difficult to recommend. I mainly want the widget to show me general reminders and my upcoming events. The latter works well. Reminders needs work. I can’t see a way to select which reminders list is chosen to view. Also, click on a reminder and you go to the agenda screen. No way to delete any reminders without going to the built-in reminders app, and if you edit or delete the reminder there, you have to reopen this widget app to see the update. I might as well just use the Apple reminders app. Regretting spending money on this one :( ### 5/5 — Great app and great developer *2020-10-23, version 1.3.7* Thanks for all the updates and fast responses on Reddit. Now I can’t do anything with it but pick one color. :( ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2024-10-03* Downloaded it for a calendar widget. Could find any calendar widget in the app — only reminders. Not intuitive at all (and I’m a tech guy). App was also glitchy and slow, and I had to force close it twice. Please add search to the widget page so I can find my events easier. Also, could you make the countdown in “One” view more compact so that I can see 6+ countdowns instead of 3? (So the spacing is tight like the Agenda view) Maybe as an option? I don’t need to see if it’s a calendar event or to-do, and there’s a lot of white space around the perimeter. The controls and settings are super simple to use and extremely well thought out. There are tons of options for widget sizes and layouts, the customization options are beautifully barebones and give full control without overcomplicating things. The shining accomplishment of this app though is undoubtedly the developer. They respond super quickly to inquiries or bug reports, listen to their users and work to integrate things their user base might like to see and genuinely seem to appreciate and use the feedback they receive to make their app the best it can be. The saying “you can’t please everyone” might have been true in the past but this dev is definitely trying to disprove it. Widget Wizard calendar widget has two great features: heatmap display (i.e., darker shades for days containing more events) and per-widget calendar selections (i.e., you can display different calendars in different widgets). Some apps have one of those features but no app has both of those features... App has low-price 'buy once' IAP (i.e., no subscription). Developer friendly, responsive, productive... Try this app!
