I’ve never used anything this irritating to connect to WIFI before. After that one time to work I haven’t been able to use it since. So it just collects dust until a day where I’m optimistic that it may get work but then doesn’t. ### 2/5 — Susk *2021-01-05, version 1.9* Doesn’t even work ### 2/5 — It takes some effort... *2020-12-20, version 1.9* I also bought this drone as a cheap FPV trainer before I flew my newest drone, and was initially disappointed by the many glitches I found: the FPV function simply did not work-the app crashed every time I tried to playback even a a captured still image, the ultra light weight makes it nearly uncontrollable in even moderate breezes, and the construction was, bluntly, sloppy. I was able to get the Android version to display, but no video playback. I was about ready to start cannibalizing for parts for other projects, when I decided to do some research: it turns out the app is widely copied from different vendors. I found out “Helicute” is nearly identical. I loaded that, but it would not pair with the drone, however, I now found that the WiFi adventurer app now worked! There may have been an overwrite of the original installation by Helicute. The next issue- playback. The WiFi adventurer software no longer crashes, but avi files only playback in VLC. So I didn’t entirely blow $15 on a “hanger queen”, and will now dominate the airspace of my living room . ### 1/5 — This is trash Because I don’t work *2020-12-06, version 1.8* This is trash Solovino ### 1/5 — Issues with app not working *2020-11-29, version 1.8* I have an iPhone X and the app will not connect to the drone. I connect to the drone WiFi then start the app and it does nothing to detect the drone or see the drones camera. ### 1/5 — Terrible Drone - DO NOT BUY *2020-11-28, version 1.8* The connection process was pretty easy, but that was the ONLY good part. The drone is terrible! The app controls do not work and it ended up going out of control, crashing into many things. I do not recommend purchasing this product! Also, the camera doesn’t work. I tried recording, but once I went to the media library and tried to open a video, the app crashed!! I tried charging it and shaking it but nothing worked. The only thing that works is the annoying flashing lights which are not at all helpful. It wouldn’t connect to his phone. After we got the app to FINALLY work, the drone would only fly for what seems like one second, then it would lose connection. After every time we tried to fly the drone and the repellers started spinning, we would lose connection. After all that trying to get the drone to fly, the battery dies. The battery doesn’t keep a charge AT ALL!!!! We made sure the battery was fully charged before we even started. I’ve seen it start to charge (my box has a light that lights up when something is charging), but it immediately stops. Piece of crap, there are much better drones(and toys) you can get for this money. Charged the battery. Meantime downloaded the software for my Apple phone 12 MaxPro. Battery charged installed ready to run. Joysticks pattern doesn’t maneuver the drone. I iPad Pro doesn’t be but Sketchy laggy on movement. Drone went full blast on acceleration. Also tip: don’t fly the drone on windy days. ### 4/5 — It’s not bad but not the best Sochi *2018-11-21, version 1.7* All the steps u need: 1. (Not really a step) do not use the manual. It’ll only get u confused. 2. Take the drone out of the package and either download a URL scanner and scan the code on the box, or search up “WiFi Adventurer” on the App Store. IOS and/or ANDROID compatible. 3. Once u have the app, leave it there. go in the box and take out and attach the 4 blade guards that go on the two holes next to each spinner. It should be easy to attach. Press it in to firmly secure it. Take the small packet out, unzip it, and find a flat area to dump all the materials out. 4. Take the screwdriver and screws. Put the screw in the holes of the 4 blade guards and twist them in with the screwdriver. 5. Next, attach the legs that go on the bottom of the drone. There should be a small hole and a big hole. Adjust where to insert it accordingly. Do the same with the guards, screwdriver and screw. There should be no screws left after securing the legs. 6. Go to the bottom and gently remove the camera and its bottom piece. They should be connected.You should see, on the manual, the diagram of what it should look like after removal. It may be hard to take out the screw that locks the bottom piece in place but that is ok to leave in. 7. The two wires u see, connect them. Once you do, put them under the camera and above the bottom piece again, and lock the bottom piece with the holes accordingly to secure it. 8. Now when u hit the “on” button beside the camera, it should glow red and green. This means that it is ready to connect. 9. Go to your WiFi settings and select any name that has the name “drone” on it. This is different for all. 10. Reopen the app, press start, and the camera should be connected. After this, you can enjoy and learn! I hope this helped most of u. ### 3/5 — Good, then bad *2020-12-18, version 1.9* Now i usually dont waste my time doing this, but i thought why not so, i dont know how mich it is, it was a gift, but i read one review that said he got it for $15 and if so, then its not worth your money. Maybe something like $3. The first time i used it worked fine, except one blade wasnt spinning as fast as the others, dunno if that was me or the drone, the camera is as expected. But the second time i used it, i charged it for somewhere around 3 hours, tried to use it, and it died while i tried to connect. I did this again, this time leaving it to charge for 12 hours, and again, it died while trying to connect. Im going to keep trying but if it cost more than $5, dont waste your money. ### 3/5 — Fun *2020-11-29, version 1.8* Look don’t listen to all these people with their 1 star reviews whining about the drone. I got it at Five Below for $15 and for the money it’s pretty fun to play with. Obviously it’s not going to be a great quality drone but it works and it’s fun to play with. Only last for about 6 minutes and takes 90 minutes to charge which is a bummer but when you can play with it it’s a ton of fun once you get a handle on the controls. My second time flying I actually got it to do a flip which was funny and cool to watch.
