Nice to be able to simply test WIFI speeds in the house. E.g. If you have trouble streaming from a local media server to an Apple TV, you can run speed & latency tests between the TV and other parts of the network. It starts. I can see the the command lines. It then does nothing. No amount of waiting makes any difference. I have OpenSignal on my iPhone. That works fine. NightHawk speed test works fine. Yes, I have Netgear nighthawk xFinity modem, router and extender. The Apple TV box is plugged into the extender that does the WiFi connection to the router. Спасибо за такую простую программу) ### 5/5 — То, что нужно для замера скорости wifi *2019-12-13* Было нужно проверить какую скорость дает wifi ас. При том, что порты на роутере ethernet 100 mbps. Подключение показывал роутер на скорости 800 mbps. По факту же при замере через программу скорость составила под 200 mbps находясь с двумя телефонами прямо перед роутером. Опасался, что больше 100 не выжмет. За такую цену с семейным доступом - не жалко! Спасибо. Еще бы софтину которая показывала список сетей, мощность сигнала и частоту - было бы очень круто. (Note that the Mac version is a separate purchase, and this app is much more useful if you own that). I like the feature that shows devices on your network, and it shows a lot of information about the performance test (upload and download) on both devices, which is something I haven't seen in similar apps. I haven't really figured out how this app handles having more than two devices on the network… It seems to get confused by that. It seems like this app works best if you only use it with two devices, but that is the most common use case anyways. Great for WIFI benchmarks *2016-09-23* I recently bought a new router and was measuring performance in different locations. I used two separate and very crude apps for that, one measuring ping to the router and another measuring throughput between an iOS device and iPerf app running in Terminal on Mac. Eugeny's app replaces both with a very easy to use tool (+more). Now I can quickly check throughput between wireless and wired devices. Can't say I like how the app looks but seeing how apps find each other in the network and work in a perfect sync is amazing! It's not very obvious from the app description that you can buy a Mac version in Mac app store. I had to guess and seach in Mac app store for an app with the same name A simple web site with links to apps would help but deeloper website link very awkwardly points to a personal VK profile ### 5/5 — Marvellous little app *2016-08-16, version 2.0* I own Fluke / NetScout handheld network test equipment and whist it's great for testing network connectivity - you can't measure bandwidth within your LAN - unless you pay mega bucks for the more expensive network test equipment.
