I’ve just downloaded a nights worth off hedgehog activity to watch off line to find the app won’t even open. This is a serious flaw and needs to be addressed desperately!!! And IF this ever gets fixed it also needs to have a way to save to video files on your phones operating system to be able to share videos across media platforms. ### 1/5 — Don’t buy *2020-12-13, version 1.07* The wifi worked for about a few weeks and now won’t connect. I purchased this camera so I would not have to keep removing the SD card to view activity. Back to removing the SD card. I am not sure of how well the camera even works. In a week I only get 2 or 3 photos. It’s very glitchy and now all of a sudden when I open it it doesn’t work at all. It just completely freezes. I wanted a camera where I don’t have to use my computer to see the pictures. This new version of the app is useless, and I feel as though I’ve been ripped off. The way it’s supposed to work is that you DL photos and videos that you want to keep directly from the cam to your phone using WiFi. Then you use your phone to admire your photos and videos any time you wish while not connected to the cam. Off-line the new app does nothing... other than crash. Nothing. It will start and then all interaction stops. Give me the old app, a new app that works, or refund my money. I can buy a cheaper trail cam if I’m forced to pull the card to get my photos. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all *2020-09-29, version 1.07* I downloaded the app and it doesn’t work at all. I tap the + button and it doesn’t do anything now. The first time it scanned and couldn’t find the camera at all. I even uninstalled and reinstalled. The whole point of upgrading to Campark T80 was to use WiFi, and this app is so bad, so difficult to download photos and videos to phone. You can only delete 2 photos at a time with the App. If you try to download more than 2 videos at a time or 5 photos at a time the app crashes. After troubleshooting this for sometime I finally decided at random to try an old iPhone that’s running iOS 12.5 and it worked. Get your act together iOS 13.6 has been out now for sometime, PLEASE upgrade this app ASAP. You have the settings in the App Store to claim that it works with this iOS but it does not. You MUST publish what your iOS compatibility is! ### 1/5 — Hunting camera App *2020-08-13, version 1.07* Absolutely Garbage app for the the iPhone 11.. disappointing because the camera is good.. the App needs to be re vamped and easier to download pics and Videos.. takes too long to download videos.. and they don’t store in my phone I have to send them to a friend so I can view them.. ### 1/5 — Latest update the worst yet *2020-08-12, version 1.07* This app was already pretty bad with lots of crashes but this latest update just sank the ship. I used to be able to view my downloaded/local photos without connecting to the WiFi (which saves my battery life) but now it won’t open and crashes itself. The download is painfully slow and shows some items at 100% downloaded when in fact I never downloaded those items. The camera itself is great and captures a lot of the backyard antics of the wildlife here. Then I read a couple of positive ones that hinted at operator error causing issues so I thought I’d give it a shot. Works easily and simple to use. I’m guessing people that have issues may need to investigate their hardware’s wifi capabilities. ### 5/5 — A little tricky to set up but AMAZING camera and app! *2020-02-03* I was a little concerned reading the reviews here but we’d already purchased this trail cam so we thought “let’s try to figure this out.” Having just moved to some average we wanted to see what animals walk through our property. —> The trick: Once we realized that we needed to connect our mobile devices to the trail cam WiFi everything worked wonderfully! It’s been reliable, the photos and videos have been impressive. It was just figuring out that one missing link. Each morning we check in to see what’s has walked by our new place. So far it’s been deer, rabbits, foxes, and feral cats. Don’t be discouraged by the negative app reviews. Once you have it all set up, you’ll be glad you have it! ### 4/5 — Good app for value of the camera *2020-06-09, version 1.07* This app works well to check your photos and videos and see what’s setting them off. I use it at home so it’s all done from the comfort of my arm chair without having to go out and check the camera. You can also watch in real-time, check battery status and switch from camera to video remotely. I like that I can connect with my iPhone and iPad. ### 3/5 — Pratique pour l’installation *2020-08-19* Oui, pratique pour avoir la vue en direct pour l’installation et plus facile pour faire le setup. Une fois connecté, vous voyez les images sur « device » que vous pouvez transférer en bloc sur « local » Mais tu ne peux pas revoir tes images même mode « local » si t’es pas connecté... je n’ai pas trouvé l’emplacement sur mon cell, donc il te faut copier image par image sur ton cell le temps que tu es connecter, de l’app vers ton album. Autant changer la carte pour aller m’installer au chalet et faire le travail. Dans mon cas je dois ouvrir l’appareil pour le mettre en mode setup et activer le WiFi, je peux en suite le désactiver avec mon cell ou se désactive après 5 min. Mais il me faudra remettre l’appareil en mode normal avec le bouton OFF/setup/ON. Alors, tant qu’on ne pourra pas activer le wifi à distance dans tous les modes, l’avantage est limité mais quand même utile. When Clicking the + symbol on the app (after connection is made) the app takes me to the iPhone WiFi screen, showing me that it is connected. Great to see it connects, but that is all this app is doing. No way that I can see to view images through the camera. Sending the camera back and will advise everyone to not buy the camera on Amazon. ### 3/5 — Works OK so far..... *2020-04-04, version 1.06* This app, like the camera it connects to, needs an users guide written by someone who’s primary language is English. This first thing one has to do is sync the camera with your smart phone. Open the WiFi setting on your phone and press the WiFi button on camera. When the camera address appears on the WiFi settings page, tap to connect. Close settings and go to app and double tap on pink dot. Dot should change color to green and have a check in center. AFTER that’s done the app will connect with the camera and you’ll be able to download and see the photos recorded on the SD card. When you disconnect WiFi from camera, you’ll be able to see pix individually and enlarge. I have to go through settings every time to connect to the camera, it doesn’t seem to connect through the app... ### 3/5 — Bit of a struggle. *2020-01-09* I felt obligated to post a new review. Initially I had no success in making a connection to the camera via this app despite taking care in setup and password entry. Trying again another day, and then it works as it should. Don’t know what I did differently, but the connection issue seems to be resolved. Still trying to learn the app. Instructions in the camera’s manual are spartan at best. ### 2/5 — Great camera, shame about the app *2020-09-04, version 1.07* Ok so you have a load of pics on the camera and you’ve connected by WiFi so you can view them on the app. Then you need to save them locally on the app to download to your phone. But you have to download each locally saved photo individually to your phone. And you can’t open the app and review/view the local photos unless you are connected by WiFi to the camera. Please add functionality to the app to allow access to local photos without being connected to the app. Please make it clearer and easier to move photos from the camera sd card (device photos) to local, and so limit the number of number of photos to be reviewed on accessing the camera. ### 2/5 — Horrible! *2020-07-30, version 1.07* WiFi they say, well it’s a lie. There is WiFi but it doesn’t stay connected. But I guess for the money we paid for the trail cam what do you expect. I can’t even download the photos from the card through the app before the WiFi clicks off. Guess we will trash this one and buy a more expensive and different brand.
