Ich nutze Wifibooth für meine Fotobox. Leider funktioniert die App nicht zuverlässig. Ich habe eine Canon EOS 70D via USB angeschlossen und als Drucker den DNP DS620 mittels WMC-Modul als AirPrint Drucker verbunden. Als Hardware für die App wird ein neues IPad der aktuellen Serie verwendet.
Bisher war die Fotobox auf zwei Veranstaltungen und lief nie reibungslos durch. Aber gerade das, ist  für mich als Dienstleister natürlich am wichtigsten.
Wenn der Kunde nachts anruft, weil die App sich aufgehängt hat oder trotz angezeigter Verbindung zum Drucker keine Fotos mehr gedruckt werden (habe dann via Handy getestet und der Drucker hat Problemlos funktioniert, am Drucker kann es also nicht liegen), ist das mehr als unangenehm für alle beteiligten. 
Wenn es läuft dann ist die App wunderbar aber so kann ich nicht mehr als 2 Sterne geben.

Im Grunde hat die App fast alles was man braucht. Allerdings gibt es einige Bugs. 
Zum Beispiel. Wenn man eine Veranstaltung einrichtet, in der keine Videos beim Countdown gemacht werden sollen, friert die APP nach den Fotos ein und verliert die Verbindung zur Kamera (Sony A 6300). Es hilft nur ein Neustart der APP. 
Wenn ich eingestellt habe, dass 3 Fotos gemacht werden sollen, geht die APP nach dem 2. Foto schon in die Galerie und dann wird das 3. Foto gemacht oder das 3. Foto wird garnicht gemacht. 
Weiterhin haben einige Einstellungen nicht nachvollziehbare Auswirkungen auf andere Funktionen.

Hier funktioniert gar nichts. Über das Kamera-Wifi funktioniert gar nichts. Habe dann die Wifi-Einstellungen geändert und nach über einer Stunde sehr umständlicher Recherche endlich eine Verbindung hinbekommen, wo aber alles mega langsam war… nicht zu gebrauchen. Wollte es ein paar Tage später nochmal versuchen, da geht wieder gar nichts. Keine Verbindung möglich. Finger weg von dieser App!

Franchement impossible de l’utiliser pendant des heures sans un bug.
Soit l’appli ralentie, soit l’appareil photo se déconnecte, soit c’est l’imprimante qui n’est plus détectée, enfin bref. C’est l’appli la plus pratique qu’il existe mais aussi celle qui bug le plus. Si une personne de l’équipe peut me contacter ça serait bien car ça fait trop longtemps que ça bug malgré les nombreuses MAJ.

I connect a Canon 6D via USB and a AirPrint printer via wifi home network, the app see the printer but after taking photos, when pressiing the print button the app collapse and shoots down. Every single time and with a multiple AirPrint printers (Canon Selphy, Canon CISS and Epson, all Airprint enabled)
A true crap and if demo doesn’t work bye bye buying it. 
Try all the features before you pay!

My cameras no longer connect as they did (sony) and the app has not received any updates/improvements already found in your new product as well as many competing applications. If you are no longer making any effort on improving this product then please let me know so i can unsubscribe.

Eppure il vostro sito dice che tutte le camere, escluse quelle da voi nominate, possono collegarsi con il cavo. Ho impostato la camera in tutte le modalità possibili, ma non funziona. Come on guys this subscription business model is getting out of hand, I guess we can thank Steve Jobs for that he told you developers to start using the subscription model, well it’s going to come back to bits you because how many subscriptions do you think people will allow you developers to continue to milk us forever, or until you stop supporting the product, then we are really screwed. What is it you developers want a lifetime income from one program, well I would have purchased your program for a fare fee and as updates come, I might pay you again for that update, not the business plan with subscriptions, I noted many developers do nothing with the app we are pay on a monthly or yearly bases and the updates are not ther. You just want to milk people for their money, well you don’t get my business.

Das Setup ist korrekt.
Das iPad bleibt stabil im richtigen WLAN, die Verbindung steht, die Kamera arbeitet, die App läuft, Bilder werden aufgenommen und angezeigt. Alles wirkt zunächst funktionsfähig.

Und trotzdem werden die Bilder sporadisch oder gar nicht gedruckt – ohne Fehlermeldung, ohne nachvollziehbaren Grund, ohne klare Rückmeldung der App. Es gibt keinen Hinweis, ob der Druckauftrag überhaupt gesendet wurde oder einfach „verschluckt“ wird.

Genau das ist das Problem:
Man steht auf einem Event, alles sieht normal aus, Gäste warten – und nichts passiert. Keine Warnung, kein Reconnect, kein Fallback. Für einen professionellen Einsatz ist das schlicht unbrauchbar.

Die App vermittelt Stabilität, liefert sie aber nicht. Fehlerzustände werden nicht erkannt oder nicht kommuniziert. Als Anwender bleibt man ratlos zurück und kann nur raten, ob App, Druckdienst oder interne Logik gerade versagt haben.

Für ein Produkt, das kommerziell beworben wird, ist das inakzeptabel. Eine Fotobox muss deterministisch funktionieren oder wenigstens klar sagen, warum sie es gerade nicht tut. WifiBooth tut weder das eine noch das andere.

Aktuell kann ich das System niemandem empfehlen, der auf Events zuverlässig arbeiten muss. Zu viel Unsicherheit bei einer Kernfunktion.

Leider wird keine Verbindung zu FlashAir-SD-Speicherkarten zu, die man in Fotokameras ohne eingebautes WLAN-Modul verwenden kann. Damit ist die eigentlich tolle App nicht zur Verwendung mit älteren Digitalkameras geeignet.

Ich hatte die App vor einigen Jahren im Einsatz, da konnte ich sie wunderbar mit unserer Panasonic GH4 verbinden, Fehlanzeige mit der jetzigen App. Ich habe keine gangbare Lösung gefunden, es dreht sich dauerhaft ein Rad, auch wenn man bereits mit dem Kamera Wifi verbunden ist. Die neue App ist nicht mit Panasonic kompatibel und wenn man kein dauerhaftes Abo abschließen will nimmt man wohl die ipad Kamera oder ich muss selber was programmieren. 🙄🤔

I’ve been using this app for the last 8 months or so. The previous app I was using didn’t have the printer support that I was looking for, and then I found WifiBooth! It has all the features I was looking for, and had great connectivity to professional photobooth printers like the DNP ones. I didn’t want to bring a separate laptop with me, so DNP WPS Pro support was a must. It just works right out of the box. I did have a small issue with one of the updates, where the printer would spin sometimes. I messaged support and within a minute or two I got a response and the developer helped me diagnose the issue and figure out what was going on! This is super uncommon for apps like this to have such quick response times and support of this nature. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great option for an iPad photobooth software!

Great customer service!
For most people they do not need to spend many hundreds of pounds on a photo booth, as in my experience working weddings & events for 7 years only about 30% of guests actually use a photo booth/pod/magic mirror (I have seen far too many brides in tears as no one is using a booth).
I just email pictures (no download costs like some booth companies) as you don’t need a operator to deal with printer jams, also use a iPhone 8+ as the camera (even though I have a professional Fuji mirror less camera), when clients print photos out at home (or supermarket/cheapest) on the standard photo booth 6x4 you cannot see any quality difference! (try it for yourself).
Also the iPhone 8+ does invisible green screen if clients wish. 
Using the iPhone & iPad you can put it anywhere!
Most pro photo booth companies use 15 year old windows spec’s (even brand new booth/pod/mirror etc.), so Wifibooth is more advanced in every way.
As it is a AppleMac system just check system updates work with your apps (the last update stopped green screen, but with in a few days of Wifibooth made a update to work perfectly again / I’m still waiting for Native Instruments to do Traktor 3 fix... So well done Wifibooth!

Why get ripped off hiring a booth company, buy Wifibooth.

Love this app. I’ve been looking through different apps that run on the iPad that supports external camera. The supported cameras on this is amazing! It include Fujifilm, which I use, that other software and app don’t do. It is affordable, and easy to use. The support you get for this app is also top notch. They have another app for free that can connect the Wifibooth to another printer via a WiFi. The only thing I’m waiting for is to be able to customize layouts more, the way that most photo booth apps do.

Only cons I have is that sometimes, the app lags for a few minutes, and I have to retry the connection between my camera and the app. It is also a bit slow sometimes. Lastly, I don’t know if it’s my printer (Canon Selphy), or the app, but it takes a bit time for it to be ready in between shoots. Otherwise, a bang for your buck! Cannot recommend it more. Can’t wait for the next update! Thank you for your hard work!

Ich nutze die App mit einem iPad Pro (und der integrierten Kamera), einem AirPrint-fähigen Farb-Laserdrucker, einem Apple-TV zur Ausgabe des gerade gemachten Fotos und einem einfachen Bluetooth Fernauslöser.

Ich habe in den letzten Tagen etliche andere Fotobooth-Apps getestet und mich bei allen mit dem Lizenzmodell und den Einschränkungen vor Kauf bzw. den Details zu den jeweiligen In-App-Käufen beschäftigt.

Diese App ist einfach fair! Man kann ALLES vorher testen und muss eben mit den Wasserzeichen im Bild leben. Die angebotenen Features sind sehr umfangreich, aber professionell umgesetzt, übersichtlich und sehr gut dokumentiert.

Den Preis von knapp 43 Euro fand ich am Ende für meine privaten Zwecke fair.
