Tried connecting this year and it connects but won’t download videos to the phone. Not sure why it has to have a different WiFi to everything else (may not have it set up correctly) but it works. Avoid. ### 5/5 — Works fine *2025-07-07, version 3.1.1* People that are having trouble connecting note that the WiFi does not work with your home network. It’s not a substitute for a security cam. The camera itself has its own WiFi network. You have to be fairly close to connect. Read the instructions and watch some YouTube videos. It’s not intuitive but it’s not that hard. Trail cams are meant to be left in a remote location that you can later visit to retrieve the videos. The only gripe I have is that it doesn’t automatically save your photos and videos to a folder on your iPad. After much searching you need to go to local videos in the app (after downloading them from the camera) and there is a share button there. I’ve only had my cams about 10 days and already captured some nice videos of deer and fox. ### 1/5 — Won’t connect! *2025-01-04, version 3.1.1* I see the other reviews saying it’s easy and I’m sure if it works like it should it is easy.
