Also, there is no way to dim the lights in the app. It would be better if there was a slider for light intensity in the app. ### 3/5 — Decent Camera w/ Poor App *2022-12-22, version 1.0.16* I’ve had this for some time and finally had a need to use it again. Initially bought on Amazon and the required app was “WIFI_EYE” but that has since been removed from the App Store. Found out this app was released. Able to connect to the older unit fine by opening the app, powering on, and then connecting to the WiFi name on the box. App is glitchy and lacks options but works. It reverts to 160 pixels every time. The borescope seems to work with the laptop, but I bought this to be able to use the iPad for mobility. The button on the side of the borescope did not take pictures, but the app itself does allow you to take pictures by pushing the little camera button within the app on the iPad screen. be sure to connect to the Wi-Fi from the Wi-Fi box 1st, then start the app afterwards. You have to go into mobile phone SETTINGS and manually select “ScopeAround_7COA” WiFi single transmitted from scope before your phone show scope lens picture..! Once I discover my mistake I was completely delighted how well the TESTLONG NTG100W Rifle Borescope works...!!! Immediately grabbed every firearm I own shoving TESTLONG lens into every barrel like kid in a candy shop...lol Clear detailed picture easily focused forward and 90 degrees showing slightest discrepancies..! Best $50 I’ve spent in years..! Now if only all my firearm accessories and tooling worked this well in same price range would be a dream come true...LOL..! ### 5/5 — Working Fine So Far *2019-04-14, version 1.0.10* I had a little trouble at first, but then I figured it out. Turn on the otoscope device, open the WiFi Image app, then go to your WiFi and find the cameras WiFi signal. Go back to the app and the camera should activate within a couple of seconds. Then make sure to turn on the LED light. We’ve been checking everyone’s ears. It’s been fascinating for the whole family! ### 5/5 — Works flawlessly *2019-02-01, version 1.0.10* Plug and play out of the box. No issues with connectivity. App makes it easy to view otoscope photos quickly and efficiently— rotate or enlarge without having to go to photos. Although, you can do that if you prefer. I got this otoscope and app to monitor the family for ear infections. Works great! So you have to connect to the WIFI that the device is out putting like go to your WIFI selection and choose the devices specific WiFi and boom it connects.
