Minor UI/UX improvements

User reviews

Simple and exactly what I needed!

I’ve been teaching my daughter phonics and have been using popular phonics apps that require hefty subscriptions. Most don’t work as good, one or two do teach and I see improvement, but ultimately I was looking for something she could practice with and be entertained by it. This app is simple but exceptional, love how it doesn’t sound the letters by name but rather by phonic sound. Also love how she it allows her a turn to spell without giving her an outline of the answer, but allowing her to click on the letters and hear the phonic sound.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the thoughtful 5-star review. We’re so happy to hear that our approach is working well for your daughter. Our goal is exactly what you described: helping children hear the actual sounds in words, learn common word patterns, and then get a chance to apply what they’ve learned at the end of each mini lesson so the learning sticks. Happy learning, and thank you again for sharing this with us!

Best reading app you've never heard of

My toddler loves letters and is in love with this app. Its approach is much better than that of other big name apps like endless reader. It shows the letters and names the sounds but then lets the child figure out how to put them in order. So worth the price!

Response from developer

Thank you so much! We are so happy your toddler loved the 'wiggly' way of learning. We wanted to let you know that we just released a major 2026 update (Version 4.1) to ensure the next generation of readers has an even better experience! Fun and engaging for teaching phonics and word work

Wow! This is an amazing little app for learning about how words work. You choose the level including CVC word, long vowels, digraph so and blends. A word appears on the screen and the letters "fall asleep". Touching the letters wakes them up and they say their sounds and then the word. Tap on any letter to get a different letter and a new word. This will really keep my students interested as it is very playful. But they will also get plenty of practice in an important aspect of reading. Highly recommend.
