## What is Wightlink Isle Of Wight Ferry?

The Wightlink Ferries app offers you easier access to your bookings, Travel Passes and real time travel information. 

We are the main link between the Isle of Wight and the mainland. Every year, we carry over 4.5 million passengers, making us one of the UK’s largest domestic ferry operators. We provide Island residents with an easy and frequent service to the mainland, as well as giving millions of holidaymakers a taste of Island life.

Crossings take approximately 22 minutes by FastCat and from 40 minutes by car ferry. And we operate three convenient routes and over 45,000 crossings a year. We are also dedicated to giving excellent customer service and the best facilities on board and at our Terminals.

1. MANAGE YOUR TRIP
View your bookings and get your e-ticket for quick check-in. Amend or cancel your booking. Get directions to the port.

2. CHECK SAILING STATUS
Use our real time sailing status function to check that ferries are running on time. Check vessel positions on our live maps.

3. CHECK TIMETABLES
Check ferry times with our live timetable look-up.

4. DIGITAL TICKET PASSES
Season Ticket and Multilink Pass holders can view their pass, show the QR Code at check-in and keep track on how many trips they have remaining. You can now also top-up in the app.

5. MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNT
Register or log in to update your contact details and preferences.

6. MYLINK
Get your MyLink loyalty card in the app rather than a plastic card.

Developers, read the reviews. Not one has anything good to say about this excuse of an app. Because everything said about it is absolutely true.
I have just wasted over two hours trying to register, only to be told,
Try again later. 
Wight link are not skint so. Splash out on some competent coders who would never dish up this non working abomination of an app.

The app needs a new look and to be more simple and not having everything crammed into a side menu, it also lacks the ability to add tickets to Apple wallet.

One of the worst online booking and tracking apps I’ve ever used. Spent way too much time just trying to register, constantly going something went wrong….Tried to use other elements like timetable check, won’t load! Got more bugs than a bed in France and just locks up. Don’t know what they paid but given ferry prices I think they can afford an upgrade.

This is impossible to work with, brought multi passes to travel with and can’t get them into this app, it took me 2 days to just register it ! Keeps saying there is a problem and try later.

The amount of revenue is astounding.
The costs go down continuously as sailings are either late, missing, or exhortation is used to increase revenue.
Why therefore does the app refused to have face recognition, but does have bugs well above acceptable.
 Today, I got shoved in my face “Unauthorised ….” Flash, just before it logged me in.
For crying out loud, where is the software standards team and software development management- not in place here for sure, probably with the test team and the board at a spa centre.
