However, the articles have not been updated in like 2 years. Plus, there are absolutely no images in articles. The author could at least try to show maybe one or have them compressed and you have to click to see it. The image is minor. It's pretty hard too download but don't give up. ### 2/5 — Used to be good *2016-08-02, version 2.1* I bought the original wiki offline and true to form, a company brings out another version and charges you for the privilege (you don't know whether you are downloading an app for free that you've already bought or being charged for it until after you click "get" - then it's too late). Anyhow, I've tried to download he English database for several weeks and keeps getting stuck. I tried contacting the publisher, who only seems to have a Twitter account and got nothing back. I was so pleased to see the download finally work after 2 years of waiting. UNTIL—After waiting around 35 minutes it stopped at 4.11 GB of 4.85 GB left to completion and saw this message: "About 36 years, 0 months, 0 weeks, 4 days, 10 hours, 34 minutes, 22 seconds, remaining." I had a previous version for my iPad that was free and worked fine. I can’t figure out how to get my money back. Maybe I’ll contact my credit card company. Sadly only read reviews after I bought program and I see no’s some others wrote about ‘difficulty’ loading. Shame on the developers! ### 1/5 — No longer works. The app hasn’t been updated in several years, so unfortunately this app can not be recommended. Basic encyclopedia available addressing a number of subjects. Takes a bit to download, but if you are into light research with cross indexes, this is the app for you. However, the last database update is from June 2015, nearly a year old - the developer seems to have abandoned the app and no longer provides regular database updates. I like having the Wikipedia database local, it’s fast and not reliant on having a good internet connection. The app installs in two parts, first you install the app then you install the Wikipedia database with the app. Addressing some of the concerns in other reviews, I began the download feature and at first nothing seemed to be happening. I left it alone for about half an hour and returning noticed that the had begun to download. The download of over 4GB is slow, but the download feature is persistent and survived some network crashes and other problems. I started the download at night using typical home cable Internet service and by morning it was done. ### 5/5 — Sweet Heaven *2015-12-10, version 2.1* I'm a med student.
