I also found not many people are using this as there's very little price reviews etc and many weblinks are out of date, I changed a few. Hope thy add more countries in Europe soon, particularly France and Ireland ### 5/5 — The 2015 WelshTour *2015-08-24, version 2.1.1* We purchased this app just before our Welsh tour in our vintage campervan. We found the app invaluable, it was always accurate and very user-friendly. Downloading the map enabled us to search off-line which is a bonus when you haven't got access to Wi-Fi. I compare it to the AA and caravanning campers app that we have and found the wiki app more reliable. We are looking forward to more sites been included to enhance the app further. We would recommend this app to our fellow campers. HAPPY CAMPING. ### 5/5 — Ticks all the boxes as a Caravanning App. *2015-03-27, version 2.0.2* Having tried quite a few Camping apps (iOS ) I have narrowed down the apps on my phone and iPad to a few tried and trusted. But the one app that stands head and shoulders above the rest and little known in the UK at the present is Wikicamps. I have used Wikicamps in Australia, were it originates from and if you take a look at the Aussie version you will see how well it works as an information and interactive campsite app. The UK version has all the same features but is lacking in user information mainly because it is little known over here in the UK. ### 4/5 — Potentially excellent *2015-03-03, version 1.2.14* This is fairly new but once more comments are entered it has the potential of being an extremely useful App. ### 5/5 — Very good. *2014-08-22, version 1.2.11* This app is an excellent idea. Made for campers and hopefully updated by campers. It just works. Used the New Zealand app while there and was stoked to find they now do a uk version. Keep it up angry robot. There are hardly any sites with details, reviews or photos. Can’t believe you even charged for this. Nothing like the Australian version at all. Crowded, no "free or wild camping", many campsites only available to "club" members, etc... Thus I doubt that this app will ever be able to achieve its true aim. ### 2/5 — Needs more input from users *2022-10-23, version 4.7.17* Just back from travelling around the UK and found this app nowhere near as good as the Australian version, where there are thousands of user identified locations. Ended up getting better results from park4night (free)which had more locations for free camping,that weren’t in this app. This app would be far better once people get on board adding sites. It's the old, reliable version, like Wikicamps Australia used to be. ### 5/5 — Loving it so far *2024-04-05, version 4.8.8* This seems to be a very helpful app if you want to choose a place to stay for a while. I understand it covers the whole to the UK and has details about each one. There’s a section which also shows you the fees if someone has been there and stayed and bothered to put it in there. Unfortunately the prices are not put on there by the campsite owners. However it has a lot of useful information including telephone numbers and facility details as well. It’s obviously that it’s a new camping app to the uk market so there aren’t many reviews/ photos yet but don’t let that put you off as the campsites I’ve found through this app are great. ### 5/5 — Go camping site app *2020-01-30, version 3.0.19* This is UK version and just as good as the Australia one but seems less used. It is simple to use basic facilities for find and planning. I use this app in conjunction with a great web site that does not have a app ( ukcampsites) It is very easy to update a site and rate with comments ### 5/5 — The best just gets better! *2019-11-12, version 3.0.17* I fell in love with this app when I found it last summer. It’s apps like this that are what make a smartphone a smart phone. And the new update appears to have given it a real lift without being inconvenient. Practicality perfection at its finest!
