There was no issue connecting to the web with any other app but this one. ### 4/5 — An idea *2014-09-16, version 8.1.0* If you could add a way that I could view the app in stereoscopic 3D and this would be perfect and actually something I have dreamed about for years. ### 4/5 — Great for Cities *2014-06-24, version 8.0.1* What makes Wikitude unique is the way it represents the information to the user, and quite possibly could be to the future of GPS interfaces. The interface on this app allows for figuring out directions and orientations when in a big city far easier than that of a traditional GPS, which can oftentimes be slightly misleading. Simply holding up your device like a camera and looking at the screen, Wikitude can place the locations, events, etc. of your query in their respective places on the screen. If you're unimpressed with what's over there, simply spin a little to the side and keep looking! Of course it will work in smaller towns, as it seems to get a lot of its information Google places, but the more information to work with the better. There are a few usability issues, especially within the user interface for browsing the options of a search (but recently they have been making drastic updates to this). Also, the search function should be updated to allow for more refined queries and allow selection of the databases you wish to pull information from. This app has a lot of potential and is, in my opinion, a fantastic tool to have on a bustling city street. ### 2/5 — No purpose *2014-05-19, version 8.0.1* I'm not sure what you would use this for. If you wanted to go to one of these places you would just gps it. Navigating the app is a little quirky. The app quits when hitting the back button to go back to the first page. My classmates have the app and seem to have no trouble searching for that, but when I search anything, it does nothing. I have checked the permissions and all of it seems fine. My iOS version is 9.3.2. Any help with this would be appreciated. ### 1/5 — Nice idea…but *2015-05-30, version 8.2.3* I live in a suburban area outside of St. Louis. NOTHING registers in the natural environment either here or in downtown St. Louis. The “magic” view of magazines is extremely rare. It says its supposed to be supported but NOT. I really had high hopes for this, but it failed miserably, could not search for anything. I'll try it again and hope its updated. I've removed it from my apps. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great app for finding historical stuff *2016-09-25, version 8.2.5* I recently used wikitude at an old town in the mountains of North Carolina and the app did a great job in showing me the locations of some great sites.
