Would have given it a 5 star but experienced a lot of bugs in game and lack of support from DEVS. Game starting bugging n having me kept restarting it. I decided to reinstall it and lost my account with previous purchases made on it. Game made me make new account. I contacted support and had a 48 hour response time but it took 4 days and going into the 5th day for then to reach me back and asked for info on old account and picture of purchases made. Did it immediately and then just got left hanging with no updates. Would definitely recommend play the game and try it out but would think a few times before supporting the game by making purchases till they can link accounts so you can avoid the problem. ### 4/5 — Wow! You not only have to worry about other players but environmental hazards as well. Each survivor is extremely balanced and more often than not you have to contend with wildlife while engaged in combat with other players. It can be brutal when you are being chased by two crocodiles and run directly into someone’s katana. Every character is sooooooooooo edgy but really they’re just annoying. ### 1/5 — Great game *2022-12-17, version 4.9.0* Survivors is a fun Battle Royal inspired game. I guess it could potentially be pay-to-win, but I haven’t encountered that problem. It has a few too many bots, but that’s a problem many new games have. It has a few glitches,which I’m sure will be fixed with time. Most of all, you don’t have to spend money. If you are smart, you can unlock characters by grinding. Overall, it’s a good experience and I’m giving it 5 stars based on potential. Edit: Above was my initial review which requires editing. I gave the game a generous 5 stars based on potential. After all, I gave it that rating in season 1. The game needed time to grow, right? Well, season 2 came and they took a game that needed minor tweaking and they made it worse. The games has major glitches,which didn’t appear to be addressed at all in the patch update for season 2. Instead, they added more NPC characters like pirates and speeded the game up by having the poison cloud border go even faster. The game doesn’t function well when there is a lot of traffic(players, bots, NPCs, animals) in a small amount of area. So, they made sure there would be more traffic! Perfect. Examples of glitches are: The death trap known as Ward Labs. This building only has 1 entrance. So, in a game with a super fast poison border makes it not a good place to be, as you will find yourself trapped inside. No problems if you are an NPC. I’ve seen them go in or out, through the walls on several occasions. Sergeant Seung is a character with an effective lightning speed dashing katana slash special attack. If you play as Seung, you can dash through about 1 inch of IPAD screen distance in a flash, and 90% of the time, the move won’t glitch. If Seung is bot controlled, beware. Don’t let your guard down, even if there is a wall, rock, trees, mountain or whole ocean between you and Seung. If the game has decided bot controlled Seung is landing the attack on you, it’s landing. If there is 2 Seungs chasing you, better have one of those disappearing flash grenades. Oh, and hope the computer decides to pretend it can’t see you. You might survive if a Pirate or other bot suddenly pops up from a place they shouldn’t be, and gets in the middle. Speaking of Pirates, why would a game focused on being a Player vs player Battle Royal have such deadly NPCs? There is one that is especially deadly. This Pirate is usually by the sunken barges and is called Captain Jack Glitchow. He has knocked down 90% of my health with one attack,which means I’m struggling to run for my life and getting my health back. The hopes of getting healed, avoiding all the other bots,pirates and players, in order to win the game in the next 2 minutes are dashed. So, avoid Captain Jack Glitchow. I have to knock this game down from 5 stars to 2 stars. At the very beginning you pick one of three classes that will determine what weapons you will be able to get and your skills.. they have literally no description of the character. They dont even tell you this is the character you are stuck with. So I am stuck for the foreseeable future with a melee character… Furthermore, the animals in the game are one of the most frustrating mechanics I have ever seen. Not only are they incredibly strong, but they will chase you forever.. unless you can mount in time to run far away they chase you indefinitely in a game where there are dozens of people trying to kill you, oh, and I only have a pistol and sword…. ### 1/5 — Unfinished, 1 or 2 real players per game at most *2022-09-07, version 4.0.8* Just not finished at all, lot of bugs+lag issues, pay to win elements in a battle royale game, no friend/social interaction system despite the game being globally released, pay2win loot box progression system that bases your chances on getting new characters on a set chance, barely any real players (i probably played the game 5 hrs and ran into 8 real players total) keep in mind each match is supposed to have 60 people and lasts 12-18 mins. Overall, its plain to see that this game is going to be another failed cash-grab like the failed mobile autoplay game Ubisoft released a little while ago and yeah it speaks volumes that this game is globally launched at such an unfinished state but has a battle pass along with plenty of micro transactions ranging from lootboxes to a battle pass.
