### 2/5 — It was amazing until it required $80 subscriptions

*2025-05-14, version 2.0.118*

I downloaded this app last year and used the free trail for a few months. I loved it! I learned so much about linking my training to my cycle and how to refuel after a workout. Unfortunately, they started to require an $80 annual subscription to use any and all app features. I wish they would bring back a free or much cheaper version.

### 2/5 — Only takes one type of woman into account

*2025-04-01, version 2.0.117*

This app does not take a lot into account and suggested harmful workouts for me.

I have an autoimmune condition and adrenal fatigue is a common symptom. There was no where to take this info into account and WILD was suggesting HIIT which is the worst kind of workout for me. Seems this app is made for healthy women with no mods or subs needed.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t offer what the App Store says

*2025-03-29, version 2.0.117*

I was super excited to get started with Wild since I’m growing in my journey of excessive and trying to figure out how to integrate it with my cycle so this sounded perfect. However, the free option doesn’t allow you use anything but the check (even though they list all these features). I couldn’t connect my ours ring (or any other wearable) No training plans, no connecting devices, no calendar access, no curated insights, etc. I still have it a 2 star because the readiness score works well but I can’t use it to the full extent that I had hoped since I can’t sync my ours ring and I won’t be able to see any training plans to help me figure out what I should be doing. Essentially it doesn’t give me anything more that I already get on Oura. If you don’t have a wearable, then this could be good for you, otherwise not worth the manual tracking.

### 1/5 — Why offer a program you don’t have?

*2025-02-28, version 2.0.115*

I downloaded this app because it integrates with my Oura ring. However, it was only after I downloaded it and signed up for the free trial that I discovered I can’t use it. I chose the Postpartum option and was returned back to the start screen because there’s no PP program. I’m breastfeeding and therefore I don’t have a period so I chose Amenorrhea the next go around. Same thing, I was referred back to start screen. Why offer the option in the drop down menu if you don’t actually have those programs? There’s two huge untapped groups of women who would greatly benefit from this app: postpartum and amenorrheic. From reading the reviews it seems like it’s been at least 2 years of complaining about this with no solution in sight.

### 1/5 — What a joke

*2025-01-11, version 2.0.107*

I have had this app since early 2020. It used to give you a good amount of features and then they created a part that you can pay for. Over the last 2 years they have quietly removed features in order to get you to upgrade to the subscription. You can’t even look at the calendar anymore unless you pay to upgrade. What a complete joke. I used to love this app for its simple features talk about a money grab.

### 1/5 — Incompatible with many devices

*2025-01-09, version 2.0.107*

Cannot connect my wearable. The app only supports a limited number of wearables

### 2/5 — Too many basic features behind paywalls

*2025-01-01, version 2.0.107*

I used to love this app and I had been using it for over 3 years but in the past few months too many basic features that any other period tracking app has (like a calendar view of your cycle) have been getting hidden behind a paywall. The “Upgrade” banner notification on every page (that you can’t close and won’t go away!) is super annoying and detrimental to the user experience, and is ultimately what made me switch to another app. It’s disappointing!

### 1/5 — Great Until the Paywalls

*2025-01-01, version 2.0.107*

I have used this app for years and have absolutely loved it. I think it is not only a great tool but speaks to a broader theme of the need to develop useful technology for women to understand their bodies and training. I was using the free version as I felt that was all I needed to understand my cycle patterns and how it impacts my training. Now, I find that the app is essentially useless unless you pay for the Pro version. I was disappointed by this as I don’t think that decision aligns with the movement of supporting all women in sport, regardless of income or background. I have recommended this app many time to high schoolers I coach but I can no longer ethically make a recommendation for a service they would have to pay for when free (albeit not athlete specific) alternatives do exist. I hope that WILD.AI will recognize the need for free, accessible tools for female athletes and remove the paywall on the hormone profile/macronutrient need/ injury risk graph and calendar features.

### 2/5 — Great idea, not so great implementation

*2024-12-29, version 2.0.106*

I got this app because I saw it available as an Oura ring integration and it looked interesting. I was excited to see personalized recommendations based on my cycle and Oura data (sleep, workouts, temperature, etc.) but after downloading the app and getting everything set up, it seems that the integration doesn’t really work. Every day I still have to manually check in even though I get a notification that my check in has automatically been completed with my Oura data. It’s just not useful to have to manually input my sleep duration, RHR, and all of the data from every workout when that information is already available in the Oura app. Love the idea of this app but the implementation just isn’t there 😔

### 1/5 — They’ve removed all the free features

*2024-12-27, version 2.0.106*

So disappointed as a long time user of Wild, they have now removed all the free features and killed the user experience by putting large text boxes and endless prompts to upgrade on each screen. I used to recommend this app to other women but not anymore, there is no point. They’ve removed all value.

### 1/5 — Disappointed long term user

*2024-12-13, version 2.0.105*

I got this app when it was free to use basic aspects and found it useful as a casual athlete. Since listing and shares sold this app has moved from wanting to inform women (& the added option to purchase add on features) to blatant money grabbing with all basic features gradually turned off to the point the app I’ve had for years is completely useless… unless I pay a monthly fee. Shame on you.

### 1/5 — No calendar under free sub

*2024-12-10, version 2.0.105*

I literally only use the calendar in this app, but now I can’t see it without paying for a subscription. I have years of data that I cannot even see.

### 2/5 — Won’t be back until they fix this

*2024-12-05, version 2.0.103*

Could be better with letting people know ahead about the pro plan activation . Had a great time with the functions, but restricting calendar access unless you pay is a terrible move. Come on.

### 1/5 — Disgrace

*2024-11-28, version 2.0.103*

Absolute disgraceful. The app started as a lovely free tool and gradually moved to displaying less and less information until the have just locked even my calendar and I cannot track when I had my periods lastly which a simple calendar if I had chosen to use such would have displayed. This is basically sterling my personal data and not allowing me to use it unless I pay for it.

Can you please release my data?! Without cost - it is mine to use and not yours

### 4/5 — Love the app…. But…

*2024-10-13, version 2.0.78*

It’s slow with more and more issues. I love the calendar with the different phases and the tips for each phases. I can plan my workout around it and still progress through my fitness/training sessions.

### 2/5 — Not sure yet what it’s good for

*2024-10-10, version 2.0.78*

I downloaded the free app to try it out and hope to understand the best times to train based on hormones/cycle.
The app recommends high intensity training even if you are lacking sleep and experiencing severe pain.
I’ve only been using for 3 months, so perhaps I will see some usefulness over a longer period of time.

### 2/5 — Maybe in the future

*2024-09-17, version 2.0.75*

Not that impressed. Helpful to know where you are in your cycle and nice to see it visually what the energy levels, injuries rate, hormones changes etc doing. But I find my training not synchronise in the app. Witch makes the app for me not very useful. And I had a subscription and I give it a shot for awhile and up cancelling my subscription as I didn’t have any response from the customer service on it’s happening and how I can deal with that. and also I think it’s not very tailored for women with Perry menopausal changes. training programs wasn’t that useful for me either.
Could be great in the future.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No App Support?

*2025-11-19, version 5.5.0*

How can we get help or provide feedback for the app? When you click on app support it takes you to the website where it asks for your name and email so they can send you emails, but there is no support. This app continues to crash and takes forever to load. I tried to update information today and it put me in a setup loop where I can’t login, even after closing the app. This app has a lot of bugs…it’s a roll of the dice if it will work.

### 1/5 — App will not allow me to login

*2025-10-14, version 2.1.3*

The app crashes frequently and logs me out. This time, I am not able to log back in and there is no way to contact support. I have uninstalled the app, reinstalled, restarted my phone, etc. I paid for an annual subscription, which is way overpriced for the value and consistency in this app. It basically tracks your cycle and nothing more. The suggestions are repetitive and nothing is really customized or personal.

### 1/5 — app doesn’t load

*2025-10-10, version 2.1.3*

loaded okay first time but ever since it just gets stuck on the opening page. from the one time it did, looks like you basically can’t do anything without paying $57

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2025-09-03, version 2.0.118*

The concept of this app is great, but I can't use it. I keep encountering an error when I try to "check-in." Additionally, it does not sync with Garmin or Strava. It used to be very good, but now it's completely unusable.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t allow for true trial unless you submit payment information

*2025-08-16, version 2.0.118*

First, some of these reviews seem AI GENERATED 🙄. I wanted to try this to see if I wanted to use it for my training regimen. I’m getting into exercise and wellness and want to listen to my body more. Everything said it uses information from your wearable to tailor insights. BUT you CAN’T EVEN ADD YOUR WEARABLE UNLESS YOU ADD YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION! Why would I add payment information if I can’t even truly trial the service? Apps like this clearly thrive on getting ads many people to sign up and enter payment information for a “free” trial, then banking on people forgetting to cancel and getting charged for six months before noticing. Deleted.

### 1/5 — New Pro plan

*2025-06-12, version 2.0.118*

Truly horrible to see that the app is all about money now, I needed to see my past periods from September 2024 and I can’t because I can not access the calendar anymore

### 1/5 — Login

*2025-05-29, version 2.0.118*

I got a new phone & tried to login to the app, but it isn’t letting me. I’m paying for the subscription & would like to take advantage of it. There is an option on the App Store for app support, but when it takes you to the website, there is no contact information for support. I’m hoping the creators will see this so I can get this resolved.

### 1/5 — Wearables not connectable

*2025-03-17, version 2.0.117*

I downloaded because the App Store description states clearly the free version states that wearables are connectable. Signed up, they are not connectable. So, you can’t even try it out first to see if you like it, without giving all your information.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with oura app

*2025-03-17, version 2.0.115*

Didn’t link all my information.

### 1/5 — Free does not integrate with wearables

*2025-03-15, version 2.0.115*

The description says the free version will integrate with wearables. That is a lie to get you to download. If you want any continuity between your wearable and this app you need to upgrade to pro. Bait and switch - super annoying.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Tailored, Smart, and Actually Helpful

*2025-07-17, version 2.0.118*

I've been using the free version of this app and it is very helpful. It’s designed specifically for women and it tracks your cycle in a way that actually matters when it comes to training and recovery.

If you’re trying to sync your fitness with your cycle this app is definitely a gem and I love the tips it gives you throughout the month.

### 5/5 — Great place to learn more about my age and stage while being active

*2025-01-13, version 2.0.107*

Wild AI has been awesome for making me focus on how to stay strong and able for my peri-menopausal body. This helps guide me with some basics so I have more knowledge in my exercise toolkit to keep me inspired and active. I’m very happy that I use this app 😃

### 5/5 — Use it every day

*2024-10-30, version 2.0.78*

Wow spectacular app for tuning in and going with my body and what it needs at different times of my cycle. I do the strength workout 3 times a week and change it up with endurance and HIIT depending on what week I’m on. Feel like I’ve got so much more energy.

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2024-09-10, version 2.0.75*

I rarely leave reviews and only just downloaded this app yesterday but I'm very grateful for and impressed by this app. The quality and accessibility of the information tailored to me and my needs are incredible.
I have found it difficult to see some of the information specific to women’s health and training and thanks to this app I feel more confident in understanding my body and its needs than ever.
Thank you for creating such an app and I hope continued research in these areas will allow you to share further insights!

### 5/5 — Non athlete in awe !

*2024-08-23, version 2.0.74*

This app is so tailored, thoughtful, and I can’t stop raving about it to my partner !! I love seeing and tracking my health in all facets to hormones, fertility, strength and power days, and even tracking days I would feel depressed! Knowledge is power, and I’m still on the 2 week trial, but in love! Going to buy

### 5/5 — Wild.ai has transformed my training

*2024-08-16, version 2.0.74*

Cycle syncing my training and following their nutritional guidance have been transformative. I strongly recommend.

### 5/5 — Logging out error

*2023-10-28, version 2.0.59*

Absolutely love this app but recently it keeps logging me out of my account and I need to log in again.

### 5/5 — A necessity for EVERY female athlete

*2023-01-16, version 2.0.48*

I’ve only been using this app for a little over a week and I’m disappointed I didn’t find it sooner! I’m currently running, swimming, cycling, and strength training. I especially love the calendar showing which phases I’m in, my readiness level, the RHR trend, and etc. I can then apply this data to my future training depending on where I’m at in the cycle. I feel like I finally have control over my body and performance. What a great concept.

### 5/5 — This is the app I recommend the most

*2022-11-23, version 2.0.46*

I have been using this app since the beginning. When I first got it it was still a test app. I have loved it from the start. It helps me track my menstrual cycle and my training all in one place. I love it because it is useful for the average woman who exercises up to the world class athlete. I work as a personal trainer and I love recommending this app to my clients, friends, and family. The feature of tracking training load is one of my favorites!

### 5/5 — Great app, life changing

*2022-09-24, version 2.0.41*

It’s been so helpful to get feedback from the app about how to train and recover (I never believed I needed as much protein as recommended until I trialed actually increasing my protein-what a difference! I’m so buff now!) in regards to my hormonal cycle. How great that this information is available now!
