### 3/5 — My carefully created garden disappeared within 8 hours despite saving down the map/garden

I have used the “save” option for map, and selected “recover garden”. However, within the space of 8 hours, half of my garden have disappeared, half of them remains but are distorted. Please can you advise how to preserve / extract the saved contents going forward?

**Developer response:** Im sorry to hear this - I know that's frustrating. Sometimes it helps to turn on the optimization options in the bottom right of the splash screen. Also it can help to choose Options-Reset from the SplashScreen to make sure there's no saved settings that are too high quality, or to reinstall the app. Sometimes though it might be the device can't handle the game since it's quite heavy. I am constantly trying to learn more ways to optimize it, but if this doesn't work, you can get a refund from apple at https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204084 , then email me and I will give you a free copy so that if you get a new device one day you can play the game risk free. UPDATE: I just released a new update 1.6 with optimizations that might help.  I really do want to make as many people as possible able to enjoy my games so I am constantly working on ways to make them better and learning more from books and articles about ways to optimize them.

First it's good to clear out any quality settings that might around fro before. Either delete then reinstall the game (that will clear everything) or on the splash screen goto the top left option button, and in the next screen click RESET ALL. 

Then, on the splash screen, click the button top right called OPTIMIZE. In the next screen, turning on the big toggle will save a lot of memory and may help with crashes. But you can also try turning on any or all of the other optimize buttons on that screen, and reduce the tree density a little or a lot. If any of this helps and you have a better experience, it will help me if you consider updating your review - only if you want to. I couldn’t update my review on my android for some reason, it’s like they locked my ability to make one, but before all the updates now I feel like this game lacks heart. I know it sounds stupid but I realize there’s not as much character customization anymore. There’s a lack of clothes. Clothing being gender locked and I’m still experiencing crashes both of my phones can play genshin impact and games similar to that :/ so I fail to understand what happened. This game was great! Now I’m just really disappointed.

Bonjour j’adorais votre jeu avant la 1,8 il était reposant on pouvait se transformer en animal je sais que vous ne pouvez plus l’enlever mais je vous demande sa vous pouvez fair un autre jeu comme sa avant la 1,8 !

**Developer response:** J’ai publié la mise à jour 2.4 et vous devriez toujours pouvoir vous transformer en animaux.

Ouvrez la roue d’action avec le bouton au-dessus du bouton Saut, puis choisissez **Animaux**. En dessous des boutons des animaux, appuyez sur **Changer de forme**. Lorsque la Changer de forme est activée, appuyer sur un animal vous permettra de vous transformer en lui. Si vous la désactivez, appuyer sur un animal le fera simplement apparaître à côté de vous.

Vous pouvez aussi vous approcher de la plupart des animaux pour les monter. Certains se montent dessus, tandis que pour d’autres vous vous transformez directement en eux.

Je suis très heureux que vous trouviez Wilderless relaxant, car c’est exactement le but du jeu. Merci beaucoup pour votre soutien et vos encouragements.

An aesthetic and serene game that encourages exploring. There’s a lot of customization options as well. However, it’s laggy both on my iPhone and iPad. Perhaps it’ll be better if I adjust the settings, but I selected the recommended quality for both.

Several issues with this app, it will close down often. Most of the time I can only play for 5/10 minutes before it closes. Secondly, when placing a shelter and save the game, the shelter is gone.

I found this game by chance; someone had posted a video of the gameplay and I was like “oh, that seems interesting”- and it is. Absolutely!

Things it is: Beautiful. Calming. Charming. Cute. A good way to relax and just explore. Customizable. Did I mention beautiful?

Things it isn’t: a combat game, a quest game. A game with ads. 

If you got this far- buy it. You’ll enjoy the heck out of it.

As a note to parents: this is a game that you can hand your kids and not worry for a moment about content or ads or who they are playing with. I have a 10 year old boy who gets completely into game.

Its a good game, delivers on all the points advertised, I sorted out the crashing issue in a sort of way. Only issue I have is that the weapons and spells are just for show. They look cool but don't serve any purpose. Id love if there was something to shoot at.

I play on iPhone XR which worked great for some days, now the app crashes when I create world.

**Developer response:** I'm sorry to hear that. In the splash screen first clear everything by going top left then choosing reset all. Just to make sure any custom quality settings that might be causing problems are set to default. Then goto too right and click optimize. Here especially turning off use advanced terrain will save a lot if memory and so will use advanced trees off. You could also try turning off use distant terrain. This might help you create the world and then you can go from there. and in the game itself you can goto options - quality - optimize and try some of these settings as well. And if you find it gets unstable, any time you can go to options - settings - reset, and this will reset the default quality settings in the game.

Great game but with a huge flaw. My iPhone 15 still lags even on the default settings while games like genshin run fine even at 60fps? This game burned through 3% of my battery in just 5 min too which is crazy. Also the tutorial gives more info about the pc controls than the touchscreen ones so you have to figure them out yourself. This has the potential to be THE best game on the App Store if it gets optimised better

**Developer response:** Thanks for letting me know about the Pc controls - I'll get that fixed. For performance, yeah it's a heavy game. It's constantly generating the entire world around you, and it's just me working on it and I don't have the money or experience to make a game as efficient as Genshin can. I just want to make worlds and share them, and I can understand it being frustrating to play when it feels choppy. I'll keep looking into the performance and in the meantime, I'm the splash screen you can click optimize on the top right. There's some options here to try that can make it run smoother. Also in the game itself, goto options - quality - optimize and see see if any of these help. Thanks for trying my game and again, thank you for the feedback. And thanks for giving me three stars and not one even though the experience was subpar - I appreciate that because every star and positive review helps me reach more people, which helps me earn more sales and that helps me find more and better game design here.

Never managed to play the game since it always crash at the very opening. Not only that, but this is also the only app not displayed on settings, so I can’t even check the info, clean data or whatever. I restarted my device (iPad) a couple of times, I downloaded the app over and over, but nothing. It just doesn’t work and I clearly just threw away 6€. I’m thrilled.

### 1/5 — App Constantly Crashes on IPhone 14 Pro

I was able to open the game once and start a world, but the game crashed when I jumped in the water and now crashes any time I try to play any world on any quality settings. This is on an iPhone 14 Pro, so it should be able to at least handle some degree of the game. Even the “reset game” option in settings does nothing to fix it. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, and even setting the quality way below the recommended “optimize” settings but the best it got me was less than 10 seconds in a world before the app crashed and I was back at square 1. 

 Unfortunate because I had high hopes for this game :/

Update: I set it to the lowest possible settings and the game runs (at least for the 30 second duration I played it) before stopping.

**Developer response:** I'm really sorry to hear this and thanks for the feedback about my game. If you email me I can add you to the beta list. I have a new untested 1.9 version that uses an updated version of the Unity engine and is going to be the next release. Just let me know you're the person who wrote this review and you can try it and maybe we can figure out what is wrong. Plus the new version, I hope, has better performance. I will also double check to see if I have set the default iPhone 14 settings too high. You can help me figure this out by going in the splash screen and then clicking the top left option button. In there on the bottom it will tell me the model number of your phone and I can use that to take a look. Also in the meantime in that same screen click "show quality options" and then it will give you a low to ultra option and you could choose low and start from there and see if that helps.

Sorry, graphics look wonderful but no info on how to move.  I have an ipad.  I try to touch where I want him to go and he just orients that way. I try to drag the character and it doesn’t work.  The suddenly he follows the finder.  The problem is that my finger blocks the scenery so i can’t see directly ahead.  I stop touching the ipad and try again.  Now I jus look and don't move. Two fingers does nothing.  What do we do if we’re not using a joystick.  What special icon makes me just move?  frustrating.  Needs SOME instruction somewhere on what to touch and how.

Oh my gosh, this is such a good game… probably my favorite. I’m devestated though at how different it was after the latest update!! I loved the ability to make gardens and waterfalls and a few new animals, but the atmosphere and overall vibe changed completely :( It is really a good game still though, I’m only complaining bc the previous version was like my ‘calm place’ and now it’s gone! I wish you could republish the 2024 version!!  I would get that so fast!

I don’t plan to add deserts to this game, mainly due to memory limitations. However, I created a separate game called Wilderless: Dune Barrens. It’s built on the same core experience, but set in an entirely new desert region with dunes, oases, new animals, and its own atmosphere.

I designed it specifically to explore that landscape in a deeper, more focused way. I hope you’ll consider checking it out:)

Love this game its so wonderful to explore but can I make friends with and ride the creatures anymore? I liked when you gifted the creatures things and they let you ride on them I cant seem to do that anymore? When I click on the animals i just turn into them

**Developer response:** Yeah I'm going to change this back a bit, to being able to ride the animals but not having to feed them necessarily. I'd like to give people the choice and I didn't realize that people like riding them so much until I heard from people like you. So thanks for taking the time to let me know. 希望能出一个一键切换游戏角色视线正对摄像头和和正常视角的按钮，因为实在太喜欢女主又酷又温柔的样子，找到漂亮的景色却拍不到正脸的时候会很苦恼。以及期待更多玩法和内容的加入！这个游戏已经成为我最爱的游戏之一了，喜欢欣赏和探索自然风光的人不要错过！

I do love the game but it keeps shutting off on me. It is a beautiful world and I love being able to summon animals whenever I want and exploring the underground tunnels. I have never been able to complete the challenges because whenever I have the time the game keeps shutting off.

Checking out all the new stuff and wow, wow, wow! So much stuff has been added. This may just be the absolute best pay once to play open world game on the App Store. So much life in this world, it’s honestly really impressive. Great job Dev!!
