The other guys want to charge you anywhere between five and 30 bucks a month to report horrific fire. Bunch of ghouls. This outfit is legit awesome and app works **Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words, we're glad the app works well for you! It looks like the star rating may have been selected by mistake. If so, you can update it in the App Store anytime. Stay safe! The Wildfire Team ### 1/5 — Alerts with no info *2026-07-27* Lots of alerts but not underlying information. I keep hearing about a fire near me but no idea how big or small or containment. Also keep getting a ad to buy a subscription every time. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, and sorry for the trouble! There was an issue on our side, and it has been fixed. Please update to the latest version and let us know if anything is still off. The Wildfire Team ### 1/5 — You Are usually 10 stars instead of 5! *2025-10-06* What Happened To Your Map That You Haven’t Covered A Fire As Important As Lake George? Search doesn’t even have the name listed! **Developer response:** Hello Sdzuki, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely apologize that the Lake George fire wasn't showing up in our app. You're absolutely right—this was a significant fire affecting hundreds of homes. We currently use satellite data and official government sources, but we recognize there can be gaps during rapidly developing situations. We're committed to adding more data sources and improving our cross-verification so we can provide more reliable coverage when it matters most. Your feedback helps us identify these critical gaps. Thank you for helping us improve. The Wildfire Tracker Team ### 1/5 — So laggy *2025-09-01, version 2.1.1* It is the slowest app possible ads and it will eventually cost money this app sucks Lebron is not the goat ### 1/5 — No free option? *2025-08-14* Youre kidding **Developer response:** Hi Louve00 - thanks for giving us a try and for the feedback! There is a free option: you can use the app without paying and still see all the major wildfire info (map + key details). If you run into a paywall, just tap Close (×) button in the top-left to continue for free. If anything doesn’t work, please reach us via wildfirewise@gmail.com and we’ll help right away. Wildfire Tracker Team ### 2/5 — Paid App *2026-08-15* 3-day trial is an INSANE pay wall to hide behind profits. All to get current and accurate wildfire information?? Get fkd. Could be good but I’ll never know. Not paying for public information. **Developer response:** Hi, Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry the app didn't feel right for you. We'd like to clarify that the vast majority of the app (about 90%) is free to use, and a subscription applies only to a few special features. Our goal is to make wildfire information accessible to as many people as possible. If you'd like to give it another try, we'd be glad to have you. The Wildfire Team ### 3/5 — Good *2026-06-30* Great ### 5/5 — Excellent and free *2026-09-23* You can see the fire perimeter as a transparent layer which is awesome. Also latest fires are visible as dots. You can turn in wind animation to see wind direction. This will save lives. Thank you. It’s hard to see the x to opt out of paid but it’s there. I’ll consider going paid. **Developer response:** Hi Drewkl11, Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to leave a review! Helping people stay informed and safe during wildfires is exactly why we built this app, so it means a lot to hear that it's useful to you. Stay safe, and thank you again for your support! The Wildfire Team ### 5/5 — Perfect to track wildfires and weather *2025-06-23* I’ve been impacted by the wildfires. I use wildfire tracker to track wildfires nearby, air quality and severe weather alerts. It gives me some peace of mind on getting the fire info. ### 5/5 — Difficult to cancel app *2024-11-08* I started the wildfire tracker this summer when I was close to a fire. A month later the fire was contained. This app is extremely difficult to Cancel. ## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Unique Outstanding Design App! *2024-07-11* I am an old man and when I say old I mean I have to walk around with a Cane 🦯 and looks like soon a walker.
