Do the developers not understand that in the real ‘Wilderness’ there is no background music?! Das ist nicht sehr kundenfreundlich für Käufer. Zurückgeben kann ich ja jetzt nicht mehr. Scheinbar bin ich nicht allein mit dem Musik-Problem wenn man die anderen Bewertungen liest. Schade! It just doesn’t always fit the mood for me and was added to all soundscapes 10 months ago. A few months ago, background music (that cannot be turned off) was added to the app. The music is really distracting and annoying for me. When I initially downloaded and PAID for this app if was high quality sounds and great choices then you introduced music for some reason when all of your customers in the comments/reviews are begging for you to have the option to turn that music off. PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO TURN THE MUSIC OFF. I like many stopped using it do to this music playing loudly over the nature sounds. It’s obnoxious. Please create a mode to turn off the music. I enjoy the update that added music. One thing suggestion. I would love for the music to stay but could you add a feature that would allow us to toggle music on/off? In some cases I think music is great but for someone that lives in a city with hardly any access to nature it would be nice just to have those sounds too. The illustrations are gorgeous and the sounds are realistic. The only thing that I’m a bit annoyed about is the price tag. Value for money is 4/5 stars for me because I personally think that $3 for 8 (I think) nature sounds is a little high. The quality of this app is 👏 but for $3 I think that maybe you should add a few more sounds and maybe make it so that we can set alarms. Overall I think this app is great! I use it especially for sleep because the sounds are really calming. I’m a chronic insomniac and find nature sounds a big help calming my mind for sleep (or at 3am when my mind decides to replay all my past humiliations in my head). Such a simple app to use. There’s a timer you can set. The artwork is beautiful. If you prefer weather sounds to birdsong/wildlife sounds I recommend Wildfulness 2. It also has a 60 second breathing exercise which is great. Wildfulness 1 has a lovely birdsong “reset” instead (a few secs of different birdsong you listen to).
