Be aware. ### 1/5 — Great Magazine, App is horrible!!! *2017-03-21, version 8.5.1* I have not been able to get a single magazine since I switched to iOS 10 in September. It appears there are many others with the same issue. I love the content, it's always relevant and written well with a lot of thought going into every article. I have subscribed for years and I just wish the people responsible for the app development would either come up with a work a round or fix it. It's been 6 months. Can never get it to load the current issue of the magazine and it always seems to drop the last issues so I cannot go back to them. It's impossible to login from month-to-month. It doesn't show all your past issues for reference. How hard can it be. The app then needs you to down load issues even after you already had it on your iPad. Finally, the app claims that you can read the issues you have loaded the issue on your device offline. However, the app just crashes! ### 1/5 — Still no fix - Have to keep downloading after latest update *2016-02-24, version 8.5.1* Every time I close the app I have download the issues I have already downloaded. This is a serious problem for travelers to waste bandwidth over and over again. I just had to download the January 2016 issue for the 6th time. All previous downloads were wiped out as well. Essentially no more offline capability to read an issue. Opps, too soon still occurring. Advised that the developer is working on a fix. This latest version has been out for nearly 3 months. My inquiry to Trailer Life said a fix was being prepared. That was nearly 2 months ago so the app is still useless. Just download it in your browser and open in your favorite pdf reader app. None are as convenient as this app, but they keep having problems they never fix. You can't keep your current version there for single day much less your previous versions. Previously purchased issues are not available for download and require repurchasing. Restoring in-app purchases does not work. You can't automatically access new editions when they come out. Rather they send you an email with a monthly specific user id and password. Unfortunately in three months after multiple tries these haven't worked for me. I've finally given up and just download the pdf. I don't expect this as a paid subscriber. If every other magazine lets you automatically easily download issues you've paid for, why can't trailer life? ### 1/5 — Trailer life Mag *2015-10-17, version 8.2.5* This app is just crap. . Sent Tex an e mail for help and still dose not work on Apple iPad 2. We will just call and a my money refunded for bad severice. Problem is it's been saying that for three months/issues since I subscribed. I figured for sure they’ve gotten this issues from 10 years ago fixed. 10 years later, they are still having the same issue….the app is completely blank. It’s just a black screen. It says that I have no issues available. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app. Restored my purchases, Turned on my locationThere is nowhere to sign in, and when you click restore purchases, since I’ve paid for a subscription for the year, yet who knows how long this app has not been working. Stupidly, I paid for a whole year, and received nothing. Requesting a refund. Fire whom ever approved this release. ### 4/5 — UPDATE...got it to work. *2017-04-08, version 11.0.1* After several frustrating hours of attempts to view my subscriptions after the upgrade, I gave up and deleted everything from my iPad. I downloaded a fresh copy of the app and now everything worked just as before. The upgrade process must have created a bad install. I am now a happy Trailer Life subscriber once again. If you are having problems viewing your subscriptions, delete the app and re-install. ### 2/5 — Poorly Done *2015-10-01, version 8.2.5* This app will not allow a digital subscriber to download and view all monthly issues. The app ask's you to buy some issues that you've actually already purchased through your subscription.
