It also includes Flash Cards, video, and multiple choice questions. How to fix this? ### 2/5 — Didn’t work for me *2022-11-02, version 3.35.1* Wiley/Sybex sec+ review/study book is a good resource but there is some information that goes outside the bounds of the exam objectives. This is a good and bad. On one hand, going outside the exam objectives takes you astray from what is meant to be understood to pass the exam, but it’s good for going beyond the exam and into career knowledge. The practice exams did not work for me as far as their wording. Some of the choices for the questions are too closely related to where there could hypothetically be more than one correct answer. Yes, it wants the best answer, but the way some of these questions are presented, the BEST answer too closely resembles the next best answer. Perhaps I misread some of the questions, but then again maybe not. All I know is I found better resources out there which worked in my case. This resource may work for you. They love to send you surveys but you can’t actually get a hold of anyone to give you assistance. ### 3/5 — Helpful but needs some work *2021-06-02, version 3.32.2* I am using Wiley for the CPA exams. I do like that I can practice test questions from my phone whenever I have a few minutes. I can also access the lesson videos and some deep dive videos. The only thing I don’t like about the app vs the web based program are the question answer rationals. The explanations are so condescending, like they are specifically designed to make you feel like an idiot. Even those, however, are preferable to the rational of “this is wrong because another answer is correct” type rationales. They are either incredibly discouraging or unhelpful. I don’t have that issue with the web based application, the answer rationals in the full program are useful and provide the additional context needed. The app also doesn’t include the written study material which would be beneficial. All in all, the app is great for being able to practice test questions on the go, but it needs some work. ### 3/5 — Bugs *2020-12-23, version 3.31.0* Answering a “select all that apply” question that I answered correctly always shows up in the app as 1 question that I got wrong. When I build a custom quiz, I have the option to toggle and focus on incorrect questions and I always have 1 sitting there, and it’s this question. No matter how many times I answer correctly it still sits there. Extremely frustrating. Dark mode would be a great addition. ### 3/5 — Hard to review answered questions *2020-01-03* App is good to have questions in pocket, but still a long way to go for reviewing. In the ‘rationales’, should be able to see all answered questions and not just those from the last quiz. When opening the app there is a bug that you can’t go straight to rationale, but first need to complete a quiz. The on touch approach isn’t ideal. Sometimes I mistakenly touch an answer before am even done reading the question and bam. Am graded. A submit button will help either at the end of each question set or after selecting an answer. Sometimes, I select a wrong choice in questions with multiple answers and i can’t undo it. Even the brutal CISSP allows takers change their mind fore they move into the next question.
