## What is willSub Absences?

With willSub Absences, school employees can quickly and easily:

• View their past and future absences.
• View details for a specific absence.
• Create new absence.
• Quickly cancel or delete absences by swiping.

We updated our code to comply with latest app store guidelines.

New Features:
• We updated our code to comply with Apple’s and Google’s latest app store guidelines.
• We decided to follow the maxim, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!” If fetching data fails, we try again. Hopefully this will eliminate the failures some of you have been seeing.
• We now display the weekday name wherever we display dates.

Bug fixes:
• We fixed an issue where auto login would happen before the “What’s new” modal was dismissed.
• We fixed an issue where the login button could become disabled under certain conditions.
• We fixed an issue where the login screen could become unresponsive in certain conditions.
• We fixed an issue where the biometric login icon was not shown on the login screen after biometric login was enabled in the side menu.
• We also fixed a few other bugs that could appear under unusual circumstances.

New Features:
- The date/time picker has been redesigned to be much easier to use.
- We have increased the maximum time the app can be in the background before it logs you out to 24 hours. If you have biometrics enabled, as before you will automatically be logged in when you open the app again, but if you don’t have biometrics enabled, you will now only have to log in a maximum of once per day.
- We want to be sure you are using the latest version with great new features and important bug fixes. When you resume the app, if there is a new version available you will be notified and the alert will take you to the app store so you can update.

We fixed a problem that did not allow some users to select the “Sub needed” option in the new absence form. Please accept our apologies!
